Shu Pan thought Gu Shaoting was the one. She thought the world's most wonderful love was bestowed upon her. Never did she expect she was never loved and their happy moments to be fake. When their three-year marriage fell apart, she fled. Only then did she realize Gu Zhaoting's lies and act of vengeance.
Four years later, they met again. She had a mini version of herself while he had a girlfriend with whom he was in talks of marriage. The two of them were parallel lines. "Gu Shaoting cheating? That sounds like a tall tale." Everyone could see how Gu Shaoting doted on his wife; why would he cheat?

"It's just a suspicion. When I called him yesterday, I didn't hear his voice. I only heard a woman's voice, and she was calling him by name. If they weren't in an intimate relationship, why would they be in the same room so late at night?"

"This is indeed suspicious. Have you confronted him?" Ye Xiaomeng asked suddenly.

"No, his phone is turned off." Shu Pan said bitterly.

Ye Xiaomeng frowned. This was indeed suspicious. One really couldn't judge a book by its cover.

She said angrily, "Did he say when he would be back?"
