Reading the synopsis alone and I was like nope, never going to read this novel

it's very much the stereotypical story of a male lead who abuses and treats the female lead like garbage then suddenly feels ownership over her when he discovers she has a child that belongs to him. and then he changes his mind because have any number of miscellaneous reasons. then the female lead will absolutely refuse to be near him but for some reason the kid will be some kind of Super Genius mutant or something and consistently force them together as well as the male lead always forcing himself in her space and then she'll just struck her shoulders and be like OMG I totally love him and he's my baby daddy so I'm just going to forget all that past trauma and live my life with this man who believes that he owns me..

To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. The fact that the ML mentally, emotionally and physiologically abuses his wife yet suffers no consequences is disappointing. Let's not forget that the ML rapes his wife (FL) 2x. The ML give his wife (FL) contraceptives without her consent says a lot about his character. They get a divorce and leaves the FL with nothing. Later he finds she has his child and wants to take custody...blah. I gave significant thought, through the eyes of his daughter, Joy, what would she think if she found out how her father treated her mother. Then there's also his accomplice who supplied the contraceptives. Both men suffer no consequences. They Tra-lala through the story with ease. I would have hoped the FL would become stronger, but she doesn't. She allows circumstances to push her to-and fro without much resistance. She has no brain to at least protect herself. She should have recorded or documented his actions and abuses. Now, the ML is suffering from amnesia, is this how the author plans to avoid an apology, by washing away his memory and thereby his responsibility. I actually paid for this story and feel I'm due a refund.

THE ML IS A RAPIST. This kind of novel only brainwashes women to accept abuse from their partners, including husbands. This is totally wrong.

story is little slow and female lead is weak ,when she know that he doesn't love her ,why care for him

can't wait for this novel to unfold. i hope the FL doesn't end up with her husband, not at all. it's good if she stays alone and strong while raising her child

Don't read this book if you despise garbage ml🤢

A gaslighting, abusive and violent husband. Fat-shaming because husband has to see you as attractive though pregnant, said by FL to best friend btw. Domestic violence and R against FL by husband. Overall misoginistic viewpoints throughout the story. Not a healthy relationship in any way, shape or form. If you as a rader recognise yourself as the FL in this story, please get help from someone and get out. If you find this story romantic, please get help.
