Bai Lan had wanted to refuse, as there really wasn't much to say between them.

However, she knew Su Qian's personality well; she wouldn't rest until she had achieved her goal.

So, she raised the tea leaves in her hand, wanting to indicate she was busy and hoping Su Qian would understand her hint.

Unfortunately, it appeared Su Qian didn't understand at all, "It will only delay you for two minutes."

"Alright then," Bai Lan nodded.

Then, Su Qian led Bai Lan out of the mall's main entrance.

"It's too crowded and noisy here, let's talk in the car," Su Qian suggested, pointing to a black minivan parked nearby.

Bai Lan furrowed her brow and stopped in her tracks.

Noticing her hesitation, Su Qian spoke up, "What? Afraid I'll eat you? It's broad daylight; what can I possibly do to you?"

After thinking it over, Bai Lan agreed, believing Su Qian couldn't really harm her, so she followed her into the vehicle.
