You Should be Fired

After returning to her best friend's house and coaxing her son to sleep, Wen Ning tossed and turned on the bed, unable to fall asleep.

Previously, she had thought of asking the Yan family for help, but when she considered her awkward relationship with Yan Heng, she decided against it. She was trying her best to avoid interacting with Yan Heng. After all, the two of them used to hate each other, but due to a twist of fate, she had given birth to Yan Heng's child.

It was not that she had never thought of telling Yan Heng about the child's identity, but given the current situation of the Wen Family, what would Yan Heng think if she really told him?

Would he look down on her and think that she was using the child as a bargaining chip to threaten him? At the thought of this, Wen Ning was determined not to allow anyone to look down on her and Wen Li. This was her threshold!

Perhaps it would be best for her to leave with Wen Li after settling her family matters!

The next morning, Wen Ning arrived at the office. It was rush hour and the corridor was packed with people waiting for the elevator.

Wen Ning looked at an elevator not too far away in puzzlement. No one seemed to be taking it!

"Why aren't you taking that elevator?" Wen Ning asked curiously.

Could it be that the elevator was broken? She pressed the elevator button, and the elevator door opened.

Just as Wen Ning was about to enter, she heard someone berating her. "Come out quickly! That's not for you!"

Wen Ning looked at the person who spoke.

It was a woman with black-framed glasses. She was a fat lady who looked to be in her forties.

The other party's face was filled with exasperation.

Wen Ning asked in puzzlement, "Why can't I use it?"

There was no signage stating that it was being repaired!

The fat woman said angrily, "That's the CEO's exclusive elevator! The employees can't use it!"

Exclusive elevator? Wen Ning frowned. When did Yan Heng become such an unsophisticated person?

Looking at the other people queuing up, Wen Ning felt that it would take at least ten minutes for all of them to go upstairs. Wasn't this a waste of time?

Wen Ning called the others and said, "It's a waste for the elevator to be empty. The CEO isn't here anyway. Everyone, come in. Let's not waste time."

Seeing that Wen Ning did not take her words seriously, the fat woman was instantly enraged. "Which department are you from? Tell me, I'll get your supervisor to fire you!"

"And which department are you from?" Wen Ning asked in indignation.

"I'm the logistics manager, Huang Wei!" The fat woman felt that if she revealed her position, she would definitely scare the other party.

Unexpectedly, Wen Ning said nonchalantly, "If you can get my supervisor to fire me, I'll be grateful to you."

If she was fired, it wouldn't be considered a breach of contract, right?

"You…" Huang Wei did not expect this woman to be so arrogant.

"Where's the security? Security! Come here quickly and chase this woman out!" She looked in the direction of the lobby and summoned the security. No matter what, she had to let this woman out of the elevator. She had to protect the CEO's authority.

"There's no need to shout!" A voice interrupted Huang Wei.

"CEO Yan?" Huang Wei's eyes lit up, and she quickly walked up to Yan Heng. "This person should be new here and doesn't know the rules. I told her that this is your exclusive elevator and that no one else can use it, but she refused to listen. I think it's better to fire such an employee."

"Fire her?" Yan Heng revealed a half-smile.

"That's right!" Huang Wei hurriedly nodded.

Yan Heng's expression darkened. "I think you should be the one getting fired!"

"What?" Huang Wei widened her eyes in disbelief.
