Same old same old. Maybe I just shouldn't read these kinds of novels, but there must be SOME way for the ML to woo the FL that does not involve abusing his power to make her become a literal slave in his company? How can there be love with such a power imbalance? As always, I long for the romance to begin only after the ML has been taught a lesson about his damaging behaviour, but alas, this novel is not destined to be so. Lastly there are repeated pronoun mistakes.

when i saw the female character is calm, self discipline n pensive i was immediately hooked. gotta wait for this one. i hope it's good and i love when there's child character in stories.

I am sorry. I really tried but couldn't read past 13 chapters. The fact that the ml would put the fl through all that emotional anguish despite her father's situation with his petty behavior just so he could have her within his grasp wasn't cute. I am sucker for hate to love stories but this one didn't do it for me. The story itself had potential but i felt like some events and characters' behaviour were too rushed. Their actions were illogical.
This is based on 40 chapters & will include spoilers. I was a bit interested as I saw the main characters were rivals but I was let down. Within the first chapter, you realize that ML is the "act rude/mean to the girl you like" type. Him & FL end up drinking wine & sleeping together resulting in her getting pregnant. She disappears for 4 years & when she returns her family's company is in trouble. ML works behind the scenes to make sure that she has no other option but to work for him in exchange for help. Instead of being honest with her he results to petty tricks & FL is bound by contract to stay working for him so she can't easily escape. It's not a story I would recommend to others.
