At Kim's pharmacy store.

"And we got the cup three years in a row "

Chang rolled his eyes by hearing MJ's high school basketball story with Ji-hoon.

A millionth time.

'Here we go again...'Chang thought.

"And he took care of you because of your fractured leg. yeah yeah yeah we know it... " putting his head down on the table and wheeling his chair Su-jin groaned.

Heejin giggled, "MJ, your giving everyone a hard time "

''But .. I regret a lot of things you know ... MJ continued.

''Having this boring conversation tops the list ?'' Chang cut him off the sentence.

Everyone laughed

"Yah!! Not that ...I wish I have tried football and other things too after being an idol I barley have time for anything.''

The boys just stop by the store to pick some things and also to hang out with them, as the couple are some of a few loyal friends they had . Its almost past midnight when they arrived at the pharmacy store.

An awkward silence followed by that and Ji hoon decided to break it .

" And hows the album going ? "

"Great , but tiring , trust me it will be worth it '' MJ said

''And how are the girls ? They haven't came here so long ? Heejin asked.

The couple knows about them too ,well let just say they all are friends obviously.

''They are good , and extra working too so they are way busy than us , That's why Mia told me to pick up her things too and working and editing our video and stuff its easy to have degree in all that but working in that field is so damn hard '' Su-jin said playing with the straw of his drink.

''Mm and ... Oh ..where is my sweetie?" Heejin asked counting the heads in the room and one is missing.

''Im right here '' Ji-hoon said .

''Surprisingly enough, Im not talking about you this time ''

Ji-hoon pouted .. Heejin loves Tae and treat him like her son since he's the youngest of the group all attention goes to him by his cuteness

''Noona, im here '' Tae walked out of their storage room with a chocolate milk box in his hand and a huge smile plastered on his face.

''When did you sneaked into that storage room ? " Ji-hoon asked

" I have my ways " Tae smirked and pop the hole with the straw and took a seat beside Heejin. And he was about to take a sip .

"You know, if I were you I won't even dare to take a sip from that box ''

Ji hoon commented.

Tae stopped his tracks , ''why?''

''Its ok, let him , he's so tired and he needs a drink .He hates strawberry and banana milk that why he didn't touch it when I offer it ,sweetie you go ahead, I'll buy Jan another one''

Chang's eyes lit up almost choke his drink when he heard Jan's name, the couple doesn't know anything about Chang's feelings towards Jan. Chang just keep waiting to say to them at right time , he's afraid how they gonna react . Tae might have some fun with the moment now.

''Your spoiling him too much '' Su-jin said

''Well of course, after all he's my baby'' Heejin patted Tae's head

''Oh so it's Jang Mi noona's drink '' eyeing the juice box in his hand and staring at Chang and smiling. Chang in the other hand , still his eyes on his phone feels Tae's stare at his side and when Heejin stood up and moved towards Ji hoon for asking something , Chang stamped on Tae's foot. Tae groaned softly and sip the whole juice in one slurp for not to get Ji hoon's and Heejin's attention. The rest of the boys manage to hold their laugh.

''Yeah , speaking of Jannie ,she left early ,right ? That's strange '' Heejin turned to her husband who was arranging the things on the boys list .

''I have some bad feelings about it, she haven't took my calls''

"Chill, relax ,ok? Its Jan we're talking about , what's there to worry ''

" That's exactly Im worried about ''

"Mm ok how about this , you call her one more time and if she didn't answer it lets surprise her at her house, sounds good ?"

''I guess '' took out her phone again.

All boys pretend to be busy with theirs phone or drinking the drinks but everyone's ears are sharp as knife and listening to the couples conversation. Especially Chang , he started to worry.

Heejin dailed Jan's number moved little to the corner of the store .

MJ noticed and thought of distracting her husband so Chang can listen the conversation. MJ started some random conversation with Ji hoon and others joined but in clam voices and not to make too much noise for Heejin to scold them . Chang's eyes still on phone but trying his best to listen to Heejin .

Jan took the call this time.

'She's alive' Heejin thought

''Hey'' Jan spoke,her voice hides something and Heejin knows it .

''Hi, you left early , everything ok?"

''Yeah I'm a ... You know.. My brother.. No my ma..she called me home for helping in dinner, she said she wants to cook ''

'Wth of a lie ' Heejin thought , its not the first time she caught her like that .

''Oh really? '' Heejin smirked

''Yeah''

''Oh sweetie your still a beginner at lies''

''Fine!! I just find out my mom not NEC,as my whole family hides this shit from me and things are getting worse and she's admited in the hospital and I'm at home with my father.. and having a really shit day and of course..night"

"Oh my... I'm sorry dear ..

Do you need me to come for a sleepover" Heejin asked

"No, it will make things worse, I just want to be alone , ok ? "

"You sure?, I can make you-

" Unnie.. I'm fine, Im just tired " Jan cut her off

"Ok, call me when you need me "

"Ok, good night"

"Good night"

Jan hung up .

Heejin walked over to the boys ,

'' Jan having her worst night , her mom is not NEC '' told to Ji-hoon

Ji-hoon's eyes widened

''Oh no, I wasn't expecting that ''

''Is everything alright ''Chang asked making the couple look up at him .

Chang felt something terribly wrong and worried now, don't even know what to do . And he can't restrain himself from asking about it.

'' its our friend, the one who we used to talk about , her mother is ill and its getting worse .. So we are worried ''

''Oh'' its the only thing Chang said out loud but his mind ..

'Oh no

What's wrong?

Is her mom going to be fine ?.

Is she alright?

What's NEC?.

Ahh damn it!!!'

Chang can't get this thing out of his head even though they are on the way to their home . They are driving back home in the van , their manger was busy today to drop them off but Jong insisted to take care of It.

''Hey let just take the other route way home'' Chang suggested.

''You mean the way of Jan's home'' Su-jin asked

''Yeah ..''

There is a shortcut to their home by passing through Jan's house .

''No'' Jong said

''Oh come on , its not that I going in her house or something" Chang pouted.

'' I promised to the manger to look after all of you and I don't want to take risk now, if anyone see's us , we're done .period '' Jong demand.

''Ok, fine just to see her home , nothing else '' Chang said .

"Aish this boy...'' Jong groaned and turned to the way that Chang wanted .

Its almost 2 am, the streets are deserted and cold when Jong pull over outside at her home .

Everyone was silent for a moment..

Ok'' can we go now ,she must be asleep, '' Jong complained

''Well what can a person do in 2 in the morning?" Su jin said

''Wait , I can see a light in there'' MJ said eyeing at the closed gates .

Everyone eyes followed MJ to see where the lights coming..

''Shut up'' Jong said eyeing at Chang looking over his shoulders

''I didn't say anything '' Chang replied.

"Just stop thinking about it , not going to happen Chang '' Jong warned.

''Ok, I have an idea '' Chang ignored his comment and continue.

''Oh no '' Su-jin mumbled

''It involves jumping over that gate '' Chang pointed to Jan's house gate .

''Absolutely not!!!!!!!'' Jong said

''Hey , last time I did a favour for you, remember? ,and now its time to do me the same '' Chang reminded

''Yup , he's right '' MJ said

Jong thinking about it made him no choice, he hate himself for doing it now .

"You.own.me.'' Chang repeats.

''Last time ,it was so close .. This close..Su jin showed his index and thumb in close positions .

''Fine'' Jong replied .

''But no jumping over, no face revealing, no conversation, only just peaking through the gates '' Jong said .

'' fine '' Chang said

Chang got out from the van checking the streets and its perfect, not a single person outside . He knows Jong is just trying to protect him. He have no choices too.

When he looked through the gate he saw a tiny light coming from the side way of the house . His heart is saying to go inside while brain screaming 'don't go'.

Tae who has been silent the whole ride was pretending to sleep in passenger seat beside Jong as planned

Before the boys was about to leave the store Chang started texting Tae .

Chang : Hey ,I need a favor , but don't look at me now , ok?

Tae : U just stamped on my foot few minutes ago and ur asking for favor from me now ?

Chang : Can u help me or not

Tae : Tell me what is it first .

Chang : I wanna see Jang

Tae : dude u know u can't.

Chang : I know , can u help me , I have a plan , hyungs won't be happy about it so u have to help me .

Tae : what!? How can I help u with this !?

Chang : remember we both used to tease and goof around when hyungs are driving ?

Tae : yeah .. What about it?

Chang : I need u to do it .. Again

Tae : what!? Ur nuts !! , but I love doing it anyway😉 , but what's in it for me ?

Chang : U can hang out in my studio

Tae : no

Chang : I can buy ur fav treats from ur fav cafe

Tae: no

Chang : U can borrow my clothes

Tae : no

Chang: ah!! Tell me what u want then, hurry , we will be leaving soon

Tae : how about all the things u listed

Chang : what !? U kidding, right!? No way !

Tae : ok then , bye

Chang : wait ! Fine !!!

Tae : 🥳

Change : but only through the street, u have to let go when ur on main road , ok!? And don't mess up , if u do , I won't give u any of the listed things , got It?

Tae : Don't worry, I have my ways ,

Then it's a deal .

Chang : deal .

'' Tae now !!!''

With that signal, Tae make this move .

He jumped over Jong ,sat on his lap and hit the road and drove as fast as he can . Jong can't do anything and froze on his seat if he try to push tae away , tae might crash the car somewhere. And tae also threaten them that he might crash it some where if any one stops him .

As the car drove away , Chang heard laughter from Su-jin and MJ,they might fallen from their seats laughing . Cursed words and Tae's name from Jong .

Chang smiled, that kid is awesome supporter .

Chang looked though the gate and noticed that the gate isn't locked

"Wow , that's strange. ''

He opened it slowly and entered the area . Approaching towards the light and when he got a better view , he grasped.

'She's having really bad day '
