Danzel sat upon his throne staring down the man named Horis and his young child Bryson. The King had requested their presence along with his uncle Martin, and Joseph. Joseph stood at Danzel side. Martin and Horis were confused to why they were summoned. Danzel kept quiet, making the man who stood in front of him nervous. Danzel wanted him to be nervous, especially because of what he had made Danzel make his wife go through.
"Your Majesty," Martin spoke. "Why did you summon us?" Danzel looked at his uncle and back at the man Horis.
"I want you to tell me again." Danzel spoke, his voice was low. "Who is the mother of this child?" Horis looked at Danzel and spoke proudly.
"She is your wife, Jaysa." He spoke back. Danzel leaned forward in his chair and stared the man down.
"Would you put your life on that comment?" Danzel questioned. The man was confused. He looked at Martin who nodded to him. He looked back at Danzel and spoke.
"Yes Sire, I do." He spoke with proud. Danzel just smirked. He stood up and walked to the edge of the three steps. He looked down at the man.
"Well, I guess your life will end here." Danzel spoke. The man freaked out.
"What are you talking about Sire?" Harris questioned not know what was going on. His voice was shaky as he spoke. Danzel kept his eyes on the man as he walked down the steps towards the front man. He spoke out while walking.
"My wife, I found out, was a virgin."
"You said was." Martin spoke. "So that means she wasn't –"
"I took her virginity." Danzel spoke. Martin's face went red with frustration and Horis went pale with fright. "I wanted to check for myself." He looked at Horis and spoke. "She is my wife, so I do have the right, don't you think?" The man scared, dropped to his knees confessing what had happened.
"I never wanted to lie to his Majesty, but my wife died from an illness several years ago and left me with three children. I was told I'd get some money for what I did–"
"Who told you to lie?" Danzel question the man. Horis stayed quiet. "Tell me now!" Danzel yelled.
"It was his Majesty!" Horis pointed to Martin. Martin pointed at himself almost surprised by the allegation.
"My Sire, I would never request the man to lie to you. I like that young spiky girl of yours." He spoke trying to sound so innocent.
"You paid me!" The man yelled at Martin. Martin replied back to the man.
"Do you have this so called money that I gave you?" Horis stayed quiet. "You don't have the money I supposedly gave you?" Martin questioned the man. "If you don't have the money then you have no proof that I supposedly paid you." Martin spoke as if he was shock that someone pointed a finger at him. "I can't believe that you would frame someone of a royal status against a crime that you, yourself, had patched up." Danzel had a feeling that Martin participated, but he also knew that Martin was right. Without proof, he could not put any of the claims on Martin. It would only be blamed on Horis. Danzel walked over to Horis. He stood straight as he spoke to the man in from of him that still lingered on his knees.
"Because you lied to your King, there's only one punishment."
"No, no, no," the man began to plead. It reminded him of how Jaysa begged him to believe her. He felt no passion for this man. He hoped his death was slow.
"Your highness." A female voice yelled out. Danzel looked up behind Horis and noticed Jaysa. She stood at the doorway. Her hair was tied up in a bun and wore long baby blue dress. The sleeves were cut just above her elbows. Jaysa began to walk towards her husband as she spoke. "Your highness, do you wish to punish this man?" Danzel looked at her as if she had gone crazy.
"Of course this man will be punished for what he had done!" Danzel almost yelled.
"You will not show him mercy?" She questioned.
"Why would I!" Danzel yelled. "He almost sent you to your death." He spoke. Jaysa walked to the man and squat down. She spoke in a gentle tone.
"Why did you lie to your King about me?" The man did not answer." I heard someone paid you. Who was it?" The man still did not answer. "Why wont to speak to me?" She asked. Her voice was a bit stern. The man looked up at Jaysa and spoke harshly.
"I don't like you. You are woman who is just –"
"Just ride the Kings cock and pop out heirs." Jaysa cut off the man who looked at her stunned. "Yes, I've heard this line several times." Jaysa stood up and walked over to stand by her husband. "I was going to ask for your freedom, but I decided against it." The man looked up at Jaysa.
"You were-," the man started but was cut off by Jaysa.
"Yes, I was going to set you free, but with that attitude, I change my mind." She spoke.
"My Queen," the man began to beg. He didn't want to die. "I'll do anything." He pleaded Jaysa turned her head.
"Your highness," she spoke to her husband. "My King, please do as you wish." Horis looked at the couple that stood in front of him. He watched as the King yelled out words that his mind could not comprehend. Two guards walked over to Harris grabbing him by both arms. The guards began to drag the limp man away. Reality quickly kicked in and Harris began to plead to the couple.
