Chapter 65

All three women walked into the dining room where his Majesty and his uncle sat quietly eating the food. Danzel took a sip of his sweet liquor before patting his mouth with the wool napkin.

"My Queen." He spoke as he stood up. Danzel walked over to Jaysa. "Would you like to join us?"

"Oh yes, I would." Madison spoke as she ran towards the table. Madison was stopped by a hand roughly grabbing her arm. She turned to find Danzel staring at her.

"What do you think you're doing?" He questioned in a growl.

"I was..."

"You were not thinking that you could eat at this table did you?" Danzel growled as he cut off Madison. He did not allow her to answer as he began speaking again. "You are a servant, so you will eat with the other servants." He yelled as he swung her backwards making her grab onto Jaysa's arms. "You need to learn your place." He spoke. "Now leave." He pointed at the door. Jaysa grabbed Madison's hand and spoke.

"Let's go." Jaysa turned away from her husband and headed back out of the room.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jaysa stopped.

"We are going to eat and where we belong."

"What are you talking about? You belong here." Danzel yelled out.

"Who says?"

"I do." Jaysa turned to face her husband.

"And what about Madison?" He was already regretting the words he was about to speak.

"She's a servant." He spoke slowly. "She needs to eat with the other servants." Jaysa glared her eyes at Danzel. He knew he shouldn't have said anything, but his pride couldn't stop him from saying it.

"Let's go now." Jaysa turned towards the door and headed towards them.

"Wait," Danzel yelled. Jaysa stopped again.

"What now?" She spoke. She wanted to leave the room because of his attitude.

"Why are you leaving? I said she needs to leave, not you." They heard a chuckle, from behind them, making them turn towards the noise.

"Is your wife giving you a hard time, my nephew?" Danzel glanced at Jaysa who shrugged her shoulders. She didn't realize that there was someone else in here, specially his uncle. Marin wiped his lips with this napkin. Martin's eyes slowly looked up at the two and spoke. "If she wants to eat with the servants then let her. She is a peasant."

"Was a peasant!" Danzel yelled. "She is now my wife. So that makes her royalty." Martin put his hands up in defense.

"Okay, okay." Martin laid the napkin on the empty plate and stood up. Martin walked over to his nephew and spoke. "You do know the phrase you can take the tiger out of the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the tiger?" Danzel glared at him." Even though she's Queen she is still considered a peasant." Danzel opened his mouth to counteract that but Martin had left the room before he did. The young King clenched his fist. The man just irritated him past all odds.

"Danzel," Jaysa quickly spoke. She could tell her by her husband's features that he was not full of joy. He slowly turned to look at her with anger in his eyes.

"What?" He hissed. Jaysa was frightened due to talking back with his uncle there. She did not know what to say. Danzel glared at her waiting for Jaysa to respond and she never did. She just stood there with her eyes full of fear. She was afraid of saying anything a make her husband flip out against her. Without thinking, Jaysa walked up to her husband and kissed him lightly on the lips. She pulled away from him and looked took his hands into hers.

"I'm sorry I acted that way in front of your uncle. I promised you that I would never do that. Will you forgive the error I just made?" She batted her eyes and looked out at him as sweet as she possible could. She knew she was making an effect on him. She saw him take a deep swallow. Jaysa couldn't help but watch his adam apple move up and down when he swallowed. So she kept it up until he finally broke.

"Yes, I forgive you." He took in a deep sigh before speaking. The young King held her hands not allowing her to go. "I'll forgive you, but only if you kiss me again." Jaysa not wanting to ruin the mood, kissed him lightly again on the lips. She pulled back, but then she felt his hand behind her head holding her in a place as he pressed his lips harder against hers. He licked her lips requesting access inside, which she allowed. The kiss lasts a couple of minutes before they broke. Jaysa's face was beyond crimson. The young Queen glanced over to Madison that also showed redness on her face. Jaysa glanced back at her husband who wore his favorite smirk. She playfully glared at him.

"You can eat now." He spoke as Danzel pointed at the table which was still filled with food. Madison looked at Danzel for a moment waiting for him to make a move. Since she didn't see any, she ran towards the table jumping into one of the chairs.

"Let's eat!" She spoke with joy as she began to eat the fresh bread and meat of chicken. Jaysa giggled as she walked over to Madison and sat next to her. The girls began to eat the food with a smile on their face. Danzel couldn't help but watch them as they ate with smiles on their faces.
