Chapter 133

"And this is our special place." Jaysa spoke as she opened the door to the library.

"Wow." Was all Levi could say as he walked into the room." The room was huge. "I have never seen so much literature in all my traveling's." Levi walked around the room looking at all the books on the shelfs. He scanned through several books before finding one and flipping through it. "Has her majesty read all these books?" He questioned. A small giggle was heard.

"You got to be crazy. I have only lived in this castle for a year. There is no way that I could've read all of these in that short span time.

"What about his majesty." Jaysa put her hands behind her and smiled with her head cocked to the side.

"That's another story. What I understand. My husband had read several of these books, and more than once. Oh." She put a finger to her chin and then smiled.

"What is it?" Levi questioned.

"Can you read foreign books? Like ones in different languages?" Jaysa questioned. Levi looked up for a moment and then back at Jaysa.

"I have read some. But I'm not experienced in other languages though."

"Oh. But that is so cool. I only know the language of this Kingdom. I have never read or was taught another."

"I would think that since you became the Queen that you would have to learn those other languages." Jaysa looked up for a moment and looked to the side.

"Well. I'm sure that there should be many things that I should be learning as Queen. However, no one has really taught me anything since I got here. Everything that I know of, is because of my mother. She taught me everything that I know now."

"And where is this mother of yours? I have never seen her since I have been here." Jaysa eyes opened a bit and stayed staring at the ground.

"She's dead." She spoke a little over a whisper.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry." Jaysa looked back at the man with a smile.

"It's okay. It happened several years ago."

"But still. I didn't mean to bring up something so sad."

"It's fine." Jaysa spoke as waived her hands in front of her. "Death is a sad topic to anyone." Levi's expression changed to sorrow. He couldn't believe that he brought an unhappy memory back to her.

"I wonder if Danzel would teach me if I asked?" Jaysa spoke out loud.

"Teach you what?" Levi questioned the young woman.

"A new language!" She spoke in excitement.

"Do you think that he would do that for you?" Levi asked.

"Hmm." She made a small noise as though she was thinking. "If I asked him. He may teach me. He's really hard to understand what he will and won't do for me." She couldn't help but giggle.

"Why do you laugh while talking about that man?" Levi questioned. His voice was lower in tone than what Jaysa was used to. She stopped and looked at the man with confusion.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. He is my husband. I can laugh about him." Levi gripped tight onto the book he was holding.

"I don't understand why you still smile while talking about that man." Jaysa was not sure what Levi was trying to say. Did he not like her husband? Well, there have been several people that don't like her husband, but he has changed.

"I don't understand what you are trying to say. Do you dislike my husband? I know that he has done several things that people didn't approve of, but he has changed. For the better too."

"Why are you defending that man?" His voice going up in volume.

"He's my husband. Of course I woul—"

"I know that he doesn't treat you right. I heard about what he had done to you. No woman should go through what you have done through." Levi yelled as he threw the book onto the floor.

"What... What are you talking about?"

"I heard that you tried to take your life!" Jaysa took a step back.

"Where…. Where did you hear about that?" Jaysa questioned the man. Levi ran over to Jaysa. She stepped backwards trying to stay out of the man's grasp. A sharp pain that she was familiar with was felt through her wrist. He had grabbed a hold of her. Slamming her up against the book shelf, Jaysa stared at the man in front of her.

"It's true. Everything that he said was true."

"What are you talking about?" Jaysa yelled at the man.

"I know what the King has done to you. I will take you from this place."

Jaysa couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her free hand went up and met flesh. The hand stung but it didn't do much.

"What the hell are you doing?" Levi yelled. The side of his face turning red from what she smacked him.

"Let me go!" Jaysa yelled. Levi grabbed her other arm and pushed up hard up against the bookshelf, and she knew would leave an imprint.

"I want to take you away from this life."

"I don't want to be taken." Jaysa yelled.

"I would be better than for you than that man! I will treat you right. You won't think about trying to end our life."
