I sighed and focused on the post, " I don't know." My only answer.
Annie didn't ask again and let me go. This is probably the longest time of my shift. I glanced at our wall clock a few times and it was as if four hours had passed slowly.
" Hey," I blinked when the male customer spoke that I didn't seem to care about.
" O- oh, sorry sir .. welcome to cafétearia, may I take your order now?" I struggled to return my voice to softness.
The man smiled and nodded, " One irish coffee and one flat white." he says. I input that while repeating to him, " How about dessert, sir?" I still ask.
" W hat would be great?"
" You should try our blueberry muffins, sir." I smiled and he nodded quickly. " Sure, I'd get that." He said so I included that.
When my shift was over I reluctantly got dressed and left the shop. I committed using a tricycle and went down to the convenience store that I always go every time I go home because it's only open at this time.
