". . ." - Cloud just gazed neutrally at the few remaining remnants of his opponent, only to continue devouring his flesh.

"Interesting..." - Cloud muttered as his eyes widened in surprise - "I guess this makes up a bit for me not being able to use my Stats Points anymore, though it's a pity I couldn't acquire any [Skill]"
The huge silver dragon slowly looked in the direction where [Hera] and [Yan Zhi] were fighting, only to notice how the [Deusphages] was looking in their direction completely terrified.
[Impossible... How could you defeat [Zeus] so easily!]] - Hera] exclaimed as her 'pupils' contracted. She couldn't believe how the situation had changed so drastically in a matter of seconds, no, take that away, she couldn't believe how everything had gone to shit from one moment to the next.
[Gyo!] - [Yan Zhi] didn't hesitate when she noticed how her prey had become distracted, so she covered her body with a huge amount of icy energy.
The [Aragami] were beings that could constantly learn thanks to their enormous increase in intelligence per evolution and [Yan Zhi] was no difference.
"Although this is obvious..." - Cloud thought as he noticed how the situation of the fight changed. [Hera] was the one who was now on the defensive while [Yan Zhi] was attacking to kill - "They are not controlled by something as basic as an artificial intelligence that modifies their attack patterns..."
[Little rat with wings!] - [Hera] roared as she tried to dodge [Yan Zhi] because she could sense danger in the aura surrounding her opponent.
[Yan Zhi] again summoned her small legion of [Chi-You] as her eyes glowed slightly. Each of her [slaves] began to be surrounded by the same aura as that of their [master], but things did not end there because [Yan Zhi] continued to summon [Killing Stone].
[Those damn stones!] - [Hera] roared fiercely as she released some fire in order to counteract the effects of the icy aura that was hurting her by the second.
[Hera] was in a bad overall situation. She had her vitality reduced by at least 25%, she was facing an opponent who could not only summon other [Aragami], but also regenerate them, not to mention that she also possessed the element she was weak to. The only consolation [Hera] had, was that [Calamity] was watching everything from a safe distance, for her, though she wasn't sure if this would hold for long.
[Gyo!] - [Yan Zhi] again 'tagged' her prey, only for the small flock of [Chi-You] to fly in [Hera's] direction.

"Now that I notice... those [Chi-You] are different from their [Fallen] kind..." - Cloud thought as he squinted his eyes - "It's a strange ability she has because it breaks the patterns of the races..."
Cloud had noticed how those [Chi-You] were normal, only they could use the [Cryo (ice)] element like their [Fallen] versions.
"From a scientific point of view, it's fascinating... too bad it's not scientific" - Cloud muttered as he shook his head - "Anyway, I feel like the battle is about to end."
Cloud could tell how despite the difference in Stats, [Yan Zhi] was slowly rising to victory, all thanks to his skills working well together.
Regeneration, [Slave] Summoning, Massive Vitality Reduction and element that her opponent was weak to, not to mention that [Hera] belittled her opponent because he was weaker than her.
"Anyway, we can only wait," Cloud said as he went back to watching the battle.

[Mega Flare!] - [Hera] roared as a mini sun appeared in her hand, only to slowly expand.
[!] - [Yan Zhi] felt terror as she watched the huge sphere of fire continue to grow and consume her [slaves] and was about to reach her location, though she relaxed when she saw a huge silver dragon appear in front of her as it opened its massive jaw.
[You're an idiot!] - roared [Hera] as she let out a lunatic laugh, though her expression changed as she noticed her technique shrinking at great speed - [NOT!]
[Hmm... not bad...] - muttered Cloud as he looked at [Hera] with amusement, only to frown when he noticed how the [Deusphages] was running away.
[Gyoo...] - [Yan Zhi] quickly knelt down in front of Cloud and from her tone you could tell she was a little embarrassed.
[No, you did a good job] - Cloud replied. He had to admit that [Yan Zhi] had far exceeded his expectations because she had not only managed to stop [Hera], but also cornered her so much that he forced her to use her most powerful technique - [I guess it was a good idea to make you my subordinate].
"Even though I feel like this is going to come and bite me in the ass later..." - Cloud thought as he still couldn't shake that bad feeling - "I guess I'll have to worry about that when the time comes."
[Gyo?] - [Yan Zhi] tilted her head in confusion when she felt her master's gaze, only to flutter hard when she noticed how [Hera] was already out of her range of vision - [Gyo Gyo!]
[Easy, I won't let her get away] - Cloud muttered as he spread his wings and flew at full speed towards his prey. Now that he had walked straight at them, he wouldn't let her go alive.

[With this I am safe...] - [Hera] muttered as she growled helplessly because she still couldn't believe how a newborn had so much power, much less how an inferior being had managed to put her on the ropes - [I promise I will return this insult, by a thousand!]
[I don't think that's possible] - replied a voice that brought a shiver down her spine. She slowly looked in the direction where the voice was, only to notice how a silver flash flew at full speed towards her - [How did you catch up to me!]
[Simple, I'm faster than you] - Cloud replied as he extended his jaws.
[Hera] tried to escape again, only to see a row of teeth appear around her - [NO!]
[Easy... soon you'll be part of something bigger...] - said Cloud as he snapped his jaw shut and in the process, snapping [Hera] in half - [Hmm... not bad... tastes like fried chicken...]
Cloud licked his lips at the delicious taste, only to notice the pop-up screens appearing one after another.
[Hera's] Core, has been consumed]

[Skill [Mega Flare}, has been acquired]
[+20 DEX for devouring [Hera's] flesh...].
". . ." - Cloud nodded with excitement at how he had acquired his first Skill after devouring prey, though he had to admit it felt strange - "Well, I guess I can't waste the rest..."
Cloud slowly lowered himself towards the ground and finished devouring [Hera's] body, only to notice how his DEX had increased by 20 more points.
"With this I would only be left with consuming 2 [Ashborn], 9 [Aragami] S rank and..." - Cloud muttered as he remembered how he also had to eat a few more humans - "Well, I guess I'm still a bit reluctant to the idea, though the more time passes, the more at ease I feel with the idea of eating humans.... Hmm... I guess my ability [Adaptability] is a lot more efficient than I thought... I just hope it doesn't change much more..."
Cloud narrowed his eyes as he thought about this, just to calm himself down because he felt that things wouldn't be that much different going forward.
"Anyway, I better get back to [Yan Zhi] and Shio..." - Cloud said as he spread his wings and returned to where his traveling companions were.

"Again... and what's worse, now there are two of them..." - muttered the older man as he felt a strong surge of energy sweep through the region - "Who was it that died now?"
First, it had been [Zeus], now a few minutes later, another [Deusphages] had been killed.
"It's [Hera], sir" - replied the person in charge who was watching the biosignals.
"[Hera]..." - muttered the older man as he frowned - "Where did she go?"
"According to the biometric signals, [Hera] was killed in the area near [Zeus]" - replied the soldier earnestly as the images changed on the older man's screen - "And the one responsible is possibly [Calamity]."
"[Calamity] again..." - muttered the older man seriously - "Tell me where our soldiers are."
"According to our information, it is possible that they will reach [Calamity] in the next few hours" - replied the soldier while informing his superior about the situation of his allies - "Although I recommend you that they do not make contact with [Calamity] because their danger level has increased too much compared to before."
"I know that assassinating two [Deusphages] at the same time is a difficult thing, even for our forces, but that doesn't mean [Calamity] is invincible" - the man replied seriously, though inside he knew better than to order an immediate return, but there was no way he was going to do that, not when any of his competition was waiting for him to make a masterful mistake so they could take him out of power - "As long as we manage to defeat him, nothing else matters..."
