Chapter 494 ( Collection - I )
After watching the others leave with a confused and tired expression, Cloud walked alongside Mimi and Sora in the direction of the [Ghost Brigade] base, after all, he hadn't forgotten one of the most important details of the whole situation, that Chrollo and the others had stolen much of the treasures that were to be auctioned off.
"Where?" - Cloud asked as he looked at Mimi, who had awakened from her lethargic tin.
"Kyu!" - Mimi pointed her nose towards the north of the place.
Cloud nodded before calmly walking in that direction.
After about 5 minutes, Cloud arrived at a strange half-destroyed building, only to walk in the direction where Mimi was feeling the treasures.
"Kyu Kyu!" - Sora was also excited because this was a little adventure.
Cloud smiled because the aura of the two little creatures, calmed her down.

"What do you think he's doing?" - Kyoko asked after arriving in the room of his apartment.
"I have no idea, but it has to be serious if he went alone" - replied Menchi while shaking her head.
Kyōka started to think, only to shake her head because she too had no idea what Cloud might have been up to right now, though after a few minutes of silence, she thought of a possibility - "I think I know what he's doing."
"Huh? Really?" - Kyoko asked with surprise and curiosity.
"I think he has to be taking the treasures that the [Ghost Brigade] stole from the auction" - Kyōka replied as she started to think.
"Makes sense" - nodded Menchi as she started to think - "Well, whatever, we'd better think of something else, like how to help Sapphire-chan for example."
Kyoko's expression darkened because Sapphire was a little pale.
"I'm no expert, but I think she's just exhausted from using too much energy" - replied Menchi while shaking her head - "I'm sure that after a while, she'll wake up as if nothing happened."
"OK" - nodded Kyoko regretfully as she walked to where Shio and Sapphire were.
Kyōka watched as her companion retreated, only to frown when she heard someone knock on the door.
She slowly walked towards the door, and asked who it was that was knocking on the door, only to frown when she received no answers.
"Kyōka-san?" - Menchi asked in surprise.
"Shh"- Kyōka instructed her to be quiet, only to jump back when she heard what sounded like the sound of something ringing outside the door.
The moment she was a safe distance away, the door exploded.
"Kyōka-chan!" - Kyoko exclaimed when she heard the sound of the explosion, only to see how a group of criminals were entering her room.
"The boss was right, these bitches are good quality" - said one of the shoulders as he shot a leering look at the 3 women.
Menchi frowned when she heard this, but understood what was going on when she saw a familiar face, a man they had ignored a few days ago when they were shopping for treasures.
"I told you I'd get what I'd want" - said the man with a huge perverted smile.
"You're an idiot" - said Kyōka while squinting her eyes - "I don't think you understood the message we gave you when we spared your life days ago."
Kyōka quickly killed all the criminals that had entered, leaving only the leader of the group was frozen in place, unable to process what he had weighed.
Kyoko remained silent, only to return to where Sapphire was resting.
Menchi decided to ignore everything that had happened, and go to the receptionist to inform her about the situation.
Kyōka for her part, threw the man out the window of the room, and picked up Sapphire to take her to her new room.

"I'm not even going to ask why they're not in our old room" - Cloud said when he got to his new room, which was not only of a better category, but didn't have a pool or a big bathroom - "Well, at least now we have a sauna, it's not a big deal, but something is something"
Kyōka shrugged her shoulders because she honestly didn't care too much about her room because the place had a pool that everyone in the hotel could use.
"Are you seriously not curious?" - Menchi asked as she frowned.
"I'm sure it was because of something cliché like a man came trying to subdue them to his carnal desires" - Cloud replied with a neutral look - "If not that, then it was [Abyss]'s revenge for destroying one of his subordinates."
". . ." - Menchi was silent when she heard the blond's words because she couldn't believe how easily he had deduced the situation.
"It's not much of a surprise that he knows what happened, not with all the experience he has" - Kyōka replied as she shrugged her shoulders while remembering how she too had been reading all sorts of stories in order to prepare for the next worlds, and seeing how the pattern was almost always the same.
The protagonist group arrives at a location, they face some idiots, they defeat them, they face a much more dangerous idiot who is possibly the boss of the first idiots, and so on repetitively. There were other patterns, but basically most worlds followed a similar path.
"Well, leaving that aside, I want us to look at things I found" - Cloud said with a smile as he made countless treasures appear.
Menchi was surprised as she thought they had better return them, though after remembering how these treasures were obtained illegally, she decided to disregard her senses of morality.
Kyōka quickly looked over what Cloud had retrieved, only to raise an eyebrow when she saw what appeared to be some video game consoles - "What is this?"
"It's obviously a video game console" - Menchi replied simply.
"Thanks for the tip, captain obvious" - Kyōka replied with a frown - "But I was looking for a more specific answer, thank you."
"I have no idea, but there has to be a note with information somewhere, or at least an identifier that we can use to gather more information" - replied Menchi as she shrugged, and ignored the sarcasm in her companion's words - "Let's see."
Menchi searched for a few seconds until he found a note that was stuck under the consoles, only to start reading it out loud.
"That doesn't sound very informative, I just heard codes" - Kyōka replied with a frown as she started to think - "Maybe they're an internet page?"
"No idea, maybe it's a secret code that sends us to another page" - replied Cloud while shaking his head - "Anyway, I think we'd better find an expert, though honestly I'm not very interested in this thing"
"If it was in the targets they were going to auction, I'm sure they have to be something important" - said Menchi seriously as she checked the other objects and saw how the vast majority were not only rare, but also had interesting uses, like for example this strange pill that increased the Nen of whoever consumed it by 50%. This item was extremely rare because the vast majority of its ingredients were almost nonexistent.
The two women continued searching through the objects, until they came to a vial that had a pair of red eyes on it.
Menchi felt disgusted while Kyōka looked at them for a few seconds before moving them elsewhere.
"The eyes of the Kurta clan" - Cloud said while shaking his head - "I guess that was Kurapika's real goal for coming to [Yorkshin], and meeting the spider was just a coincidence."
"Possibly" - Kyōka replied simply - "The world is a small place, and fate is a strange thing."
"I guess we'll hand them over to Kurapika when we leave [Yorkshin], though from what I heard, Neon Nostrade also came for them" - Menchi said as she gave them one last look in their eyes before shaking his head.
"What Kurapika does with the eyes, is not our problem, we are just returning them to the person who can decide their fate" - Cloud replied as he made the eyes disappear.
The two women again began their search among all the objects that Cloud had taken out of his inventory, not knowing that these were but a small fraction of everything he had stored.

Fifteen minutes later, Kyōka and Menchi, managed to organize all the things into different sections.
The first were the objects that could be useful to them, then there were the objects of great value that they could exchange for more useful objects, next were the objects of unknown value that needed an expert to be able to better understand what they were, and finally there were the useless objects, things like the personal belongings of certain celebrities that were a sensation in a certain sector of the population, such as, for example, the underwear of a certain actress.
