  I waited, watching the fights below me. It wasn't time for me to interfere just yet. Though, I do have to admit I wasn't expecting Lucas to just be taken and dragged off like that. But it had happened so fast, there really wasn't much I could do to even stop it.

  I could have sprung out of my hiding spot and confronted the dragon, but it had happened way too quick. Now, I got the pleasure of watching my brother flop around naked as he yelled at the grunts outside. His real focus needed to be on the beast farther inside, the one that Nicholas was facing, but I couldn't really expect much from Jack to begin with.

  My eyes flitted over the battlefield. My brother had done a decent enough job I supposed. He'd moved through thirty or so bodies out there. They'd been practically still to him as he carved his way through their ranks. Many had their limbs pulled off or hearts removed. Jack didn't hold back.
