　　The dragon peeled away from her, head cocked to the side as he studied us. He just grinned, not the least worried about being outnumbered. "Boston, deal with these wolves, will you?" He demanded.


　　"As you wish, Lord Eagon." The voice chirped from somewhere behind me. I didn't bother turning. I didn't need to. I had every confidence in my pack.


　　I wasn't about to ask this man to give my mate back. I wouldn't beg, I wouldn't bargain. I was the Alpha. I would take what I wanted. Nothing could stop me, not even a dragon. Shifting here could be dangerous, even I knew that. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt her. "Let's take our fight elsewhere. You wouldn't want her to die before you got your full revenge, right?"
