Chapter 26

Eulysis took a deep breath. That might be their last coffee session. So, what is the point of lying to this man, whom he has considered one of his kids?

“Going out the space makes aging faster. It weakens our body. Living out there for hours is missing years here on Earth.”

“Dean isn’t that old yet, though.”

“Yes, he is. His firstborn is fifteen years older than me.”

“But Dean is just in his fifties. If you are forty-eight and his son is fifteen years ahead of you—”

“The Dean we know is just one of the existing Dean’s.”

  “I don’t get it again.”

“Let us just say that there is not just one Dean. There is not just one Eulysis. There is not just one copy of us. There are few more of us.”

That was slow enough for to him to mishear the words he said. He is starting to have some conclusions. To think that he is joking around and referring to they are not the only ones having their names isn’t his cup of tea in serious conversations.
