Chapter 27

The aroma of brewed coffee woke up Eunice. She hugged one of her pillows and bury her face on it-what a smell, she can't remember the name of that scent but the fragrance is so familiar.

Heavy stamps passed by her room’s door. She covered her ears with her hands.

‘Those guys! They are on it again!’

“Mom, have you seen my black shoes? I put it here in the shoe rack last time,” Ronald called.

She automatically smiled. They are now finally living the life they have always been dreaming to live.

“Mom went outside early and haven’t come back yet,” Roel replied.

“I will be late for my final exam!”

“You will surely will if you won’t use your eyes to find it!”

  “Can you help me then?!”

“What else can I do? I will be late too if I don’t!”

“Oh? Thanks! You can go ahead then.”
