  He dressed differently this time and pretended to be a passerby to survey the area. Last night, he didn’t have a good sleep again because of the thought that a mother and son might become a new’s content one of these days, found lifeless. He is already sleepless for how many nights now. Not just sleepless but also bothered.

  There is no unusual things, neither sightings in the place, though the bushes had obviously been ransacked desperately. He took the way they took that day, hoping to see the person Eunice had saw.

  “Hey, man! Need a ride?” a good Samaritan asked and slowed down his vehicle.

  He politely declined and smiled, “Thank you, Sir, but my home is just around here. I will be okay by walking.”

  “In the woods? It is my first time to hear that someone lives in there,” the man said and glanced at him.

  “I am collecting some wood for fuel,” he alibied.
