Chapter 20: I Can’t Stay by Your Side Any Longer

Hanson avoided Wendy's gaze.

"I don't want to be affected by the sadness in her eyes when this woman had already had her personal affairs planned out after death...

"Wendy doesn't deserve my sympathy," he thought.

When she saw that Hanson had remained silent, Wendy directed her gaze back at Tanya's face.

"So, you don't need my liver any more?"

Tanya knew that Hanson could not see her face from his angle of vision at the moment.

So, she raised her eyebrows and flashed a devilish, mocking smile at Wendy as she answered in a voice that was surprisingly filled with sorrow.

"That's right, I don't need it any more. It just isn't right for Hanson to do such a thing." 

After saying that, Tanya quickly ran towards a small, round table at the side. Then, she picked up a knife from a silver platter on the table.

Hanson called out to her upon seeing that, "Tanya, what are you doing?"
