Chapter 111 Why Do This Now When It’s Already Too Late

Hanson knew that Wendy wouldn't give him any response anymore. But he had stubbornly and repeatedly apologised to her nevertheless.

"I'm learning for the very first time that losing someone, who is very dear to you, could bring one so much pain that it hurts to even breathe.

"And yet, I've actually put Wendy, who had loved me with all her heart, through the pain of losing her loved ones over and over again. I had even blamed her for their deaths..." He pondered.

He lay down next to her and held her in a tight embrace with a woeful look on his face.

"What can I do to bring Wendy back to my side?

"I'm willing to give everything I have in exchange for that, including my life.

"But would God allow me a second chance?" Hanson was lost in thought.

For two days, Hanson kept the air conditioning on and made sure that the room was maintained at the lowest temperature possible.

He didn't leave the room, nor did he take any food or drinks.
