Chapter 12 Just Let Her Marry Him

"I asked her to come," Aurora replied. I was hopeful that Aunt Sarah had told my grandmother about the incident.

From the tone in my grandmother's voice, it was hard to tell why she had brought Aunt Sarah in.

I stole a glance at Liam and noticed that a thin layer of sweat had gathered on his forehead.

The four of us entered the house. Aurora sat with me while Liam and Libby sat across from us. Aunt Elsa served us tea.

Aurora held my hand and went straight to the point. "Sarah already told me about the wedding."

Liam was infuriated. He stood up and scolded Aunt Sarah, "You idiot! Grace bribed you, didn't she?"

As he spoke, he hurled the tablecloth towards Aunt Sarah.

Aunt Sarah didn't dodge in time, resulting in boiling tea on the tablecloth to land on her and cups shattering.

"Enough!" Aurora yelled. "Sarah, go and get changed."

Aurora always gave people the impression of a kind person. Yet she was the head of the household, so naturally, her words carried weight.
