Chapter 56 I Will Stand on Her Side

I knew this meant Anthony had agreed.

Just as I was worried about an explanation for Lola, she said first, "I want to go too."

"Well..." I pretended to hesitate and replied, "Okay."

I was actually secretly delighted.

After that, Phoenix announced the name of the restaurant. It was room number six hundred and sixty-six of Ming Pavilion.

It was a Michelin three-star restaurant.

When we left the Wallers', Phoenix sent a driver to take Lola back and then returned to the villa with me.

This was done for the sake of Anthony.

On the way back, I learnt that Ming Pavilion had reserved this private room for him throughout the year.

"Tell me, what are you planning tomorrow?" he asked.

I hesitated for a moment and replied, "It's a secret."

I wasn't sure if Phoenix would help Lola. If so, my plan would be ruined.
