I knew this meant Anthony had agreed.
Just as I was worried about an explanation for Lola, she said first, "I want to go too."
"Well..." I pretended to hesitate and replied, "Okay."
I was actually secretly delighted.
After that, Phoenix announced the name of the restaurant. It was room number six hundred and sixty-six of Ming Pavilion.
It was a Michelin three-star restaurant.
When we left the Wallers', Phoenix sent a driver to take Lola back and then returned to the villa with me.
This was done for the sake of Anthony.
On the way back, I learnt that Ming Pavilion had reserved this private room for him throughout the year.
"Tell me, what are you planning tomorrow?" he asked.
I hesitated for a moment and replied, "It's a secret."
I wasn't sure if Phoenix would help Lola. If so, my plan would be ruined.
It was morning the next day.
