Diana

Lina relaxed her muscles in the cold water in the tub, she closed her eyes and felt the sensation of her body, she took a deep breath in and opened her eyes then shut it again.

She came out from the bathroom then dressed before going for dinner. After diner she went into the forest.

She walked deep into the forest without minding that there could be harm there, the forest was very quiet and she continued to walk deeper.

She stopped at a spot where there was lot of trees that formed a circle, she gazed at these trees and noticed that a tree had a particular mark which looked familiar, she was still looking at the trees when a great wind blew from nowhere, it was not ordinary, as the violent breeze continued to blow, those pale looking creatures emerged from somewhere Lina could not see

“Oh no!” An exclamation left her mouth, she retracted her steps and took two steps backwards but her back hit something, turning back to find out what was that her back was against, she discovered it was nothing but the drones, quite complicating right?

She looked right and found drones, left, back and front were all filled with drones, was this the doom of her, she hated been in this kind of situation, she did not know what to do and she had no idea how to go about it.

It was not as if there number were small, she would have taken them down easily but this was more than five thousand (approximately) or even more but definitely not less.

She gulped as she realization finally dawned on her, she was done for, she would not survive this and even if she did, she would sustain severe injuries and pass through lot of pain.

They started attacking her, and she tried her best to defend and also cast sleeping spells on them, thanks a lot to Lyle who made her learn her spells.

They continued to attack her and suddenly stopped simultaneously as if they were electronic devices which were designed to stop at the same time. ‘What happened? Why did they stop?’ Questions filled Lina’s head and then it hit her to take to her heels.

She turned around to run but a female voice stopped her midway “I wouldn’t do that if I were you” a woman emerged from a path way created by these drones. She was a blonde dressed in a beautiful black flowing dress and a brown hair cascaded down her back, in one word she was beautiful.

Beside her were two huge men, one was taller than the other, the shorter one was chubby, and his pot belly was visible thanks to the body hug top he was were, he had a face mask on which covered only his mouth and nose.

The second one who was the taller one was slim, he wore a black fitting long sleeve shirt and black trousers and also wore a mask but this time it covered his entire face only leaving his eyes for sight.

Lina’s gaze landed on the taller one and their gaze seemed to connect and she felt like she knew him, she felt like she had seen him somewhere but she couldn’t tell where, his body language was familiar and she could not help but wonder who he was?

“You must be a witch” the woman said smiling and she circled Lina “and a royal one for that matter, what a gift!” She added and stopped at her front

“What is your name?” She asked and got no reply, what she got was only a dead stare “who are you?” Lina managed to ask, her voice sounded firm but her body expressed fear, she wanted to run away from here as soon as possible

“Who am I?, what a question! I am Diana” she stretched her hand to shake Lina but she did not get a return handshake “well I know you must be wondering what I am, I am Diana, the queen of the drones” she added with an evil smirk.

“What do you want from me?” Lina asked “what I what from you, hmm, that is a good question little girl, but I already have a witch so you are not needed” she replied

Lina let out a long breath and her attention turned to the familiar man whose eyes was never taken away from her even while she was speaking to Diana, he continued to stare at her with disbelief, he never knew she was this courageous to leave her house and come into the deep forests, Lina then turned her attention back to Diana

“You have been asking me questions all along and now it is my turn, what the fucking hell are you doing in my territory?” Her calm voice was gone and now replaced with a hoarse one

Lina looked around and replied “I did not know that this was your territory and if you let me go I promise never to come here again in my entire life” Lina vowed

“Listen little girl, I do not pardon people, no one goes away scut free and trust me I am going to deal with you squarely” she said grinning wickedly at her

“ATTACK!” her voice was excessively loud and just like that, the drones started to come after here at the same time. Diana let out a wicked laugh before saying “this is going to be fun”

Lina eyes searched for that familiar person and her gaze connected with his and for some certain reasons she felt like he was going to save her but her guess was wrong because he stood there beside her (Diana) and Diana resting

her head on his shoulder.

Returning her gaze to her main problem she wanted to attack but stopped as she realized that all these creatures were dead and smoke filled everywhere.

It was not other than lord Peres, the only imortal one planet earth.
