-11 Minutes Until Providence's Arrival-
I will never forget what that girl did.
In a fraction of a second, and I meant a fraction of a second, an unperceivable spike of speed I could only mimic came out of this girl's legs and arms, as she summoned a saber and struck one of the arrows. She swung down and her whole body followed, twisting itself in a way to hit three other arrows that all came in a straight line.
She landed on the ground with one foot and flipped up again, slicing another two arrows as they came in a straight pattern. Then, as she landed on the ground again with her terrifying speed, she kicked up again and sliced through two more arrows, then caught the last one, and threw it back at Pestilence all before hitting the ground for the third time.
A burst of wind shot out from underneath her feet and she exhaled lightly while keeping her head turned forward.
"I've never seen you before... thank you! Thank you so much!" I told the girl.
"Don't mention it, Auntie Boo. Is this our opponent?" She asked me with her head pointed forward.
"Eh? Auntie?! I don't have any nieces!" I shouted out at her.
"I'll take out the arrows coming for you, you charge in. Can you do that?" She asked me. I guess I could ask her questions after she was done, but I nodded for now.
"I can hold my own, as long as you can get those pesky arrows out of my way," I told the girl.
"Affirmative." She told me. As soon as I ran toward Pestilence, she mimicked my speed and jumped in front of me as Pestilence charged his nine-shot up and aimed it right for my face.
I didn't know this girl and just met her, but I'll be damned if her bark matched her bite.
As soon as an arrow came close to her face, she cut it down with that insane speed, and again, chopped up all arrows by flipping her body until they stopped. I stopped because I feared the worst and she went for yet another round of nine-shots. This was no accident... this girl could take out projectiles at a fast speed.
"Auntie Boo, why are we stopping here?!" She yelled out at me. I shook my head and cleared the confusion while charging in toward Pestilence again.
She cut down six arrows in one movement and the other three in another, landing on the ground while keeping her momentum. This girl was insane...
Just as I slashed toward Pestilence, he jumped back and tried to shoot me, but this time around, the girl jumped in front of me, catching all nine arrows and throwing them back at Pestilence. One pierced the prominent area in his chest that showed off his core and he coughed up blood.
"Weakness confirmed. His chest, right next to the bulge by his right breast is his weak point. A core, for the Horubeki, known as their weak point, can be clearly seen." The girl told me.
"Horubeki? Their weak point? Why are you talking like that?" I asked her while charging at Pestilence once more.
"Because your chance of success while fighting Horubeki Entity Pestilence Achamo is under twenty-five percent." The girl told me.
I slashed at the core and Pestilence tried desperately to block the strike, but I cut right through his bow. His jaw unhinged once more and tried to clamp down on my neck to hit me with the same attack he hit Myth with, but the girl cut his head off accordingly and I was able to move freely.
I flipped my body and cut him in half, core and all. He soon blew up into a cloud of smoke and was left with nothing on the ground. He didn't have a very climactic death, but as long as he was dead, we won.
"Thank you for helping us... but who are you? Why did you help me? Why do you talk like you're a robot?" I asked her.
"I was given the name Faith by my father. I helped you because you're my Auntie Boo, and that's my Uncle Mitra and Uncle Myth. Whenever I go into battle mode, I am required to make small calculations to figure out the trajectory and pathing of projectiles, so I forget to sound human once in a while." She explained to the three of us.
"Wow... you're amazing! You have a ton of talent but... how can I repay you? Is everybody else done yet?" I asked. Faith shook her head and pointed.
"Some people are still fighting. Maybe you can help me find my dad? I woke up recently and I'm not sure where I am, but if I find him, everything will be okay." She told us.
"I'm sure he's here... hey!" I turned to Faith again and she fell asleep, falling onto the grassy hill right next to us.
"Faith?! Are you alright?! Hey, Myth, Mitra! Can you get me some help?!" I asked them. They ran over and looked at Faith with curious eyes.
"Who is she? I've never seen her around the school before." Myth said, moving her hair out of her eyes.
Right as Myth touched her, a surge of pain shot through my arm as I if had just been stabbed. I winced and dropped Faith's head so it collided with the ground. Something weird was happening to me!
Just as I did it, I held the left side of my head and looked forward in shock.

[BUUSU ACHAMO]
What the hell?!
The pain subsided and out of my hand, followed by a weird feeling running up it, a stone made of some white material shot out like it was nothing. Like it had been there all along...
