Fico and Illya

--Dani's Perspective--

Boo came flying in at a high speed with another person, who Illya seemed to guess without fail.

Illya stepped up to her while Boo retreated, as per Illya's plan, and she stared at this weird girl with eccentric hair, weird clothing, and feathers...

"I brought her here Illya," Boo said, recuperating and watching the atmosphere unfold.

"I can't believe you aren't dead. Sky didn't have the balls to kill you?" She asked, trying to antagonize us.

"Quite the opposite, Fico. Sky had the balls to, but I didn't want him to." Illya shamelessly said.

"What an upsetting thing to hear! Illya actually has the capacity to beg for her life! Oh, how far you've fallen from grace. Now, if you don't mind, I have to get back to something now. Cole is probably losing." Fico said.

"Avie is quite a scary name, isn't it?" Illya asked. That question shook Fico and caused her to stop launching off.

"What... what do you know about that?" Fico asked with an stammer. It looked like Illya was slowly breaking her down.

"What do I know about it? Four hundred years ago, when most of us died out... where do you think she went? I'm curious, what are you thinking?" Illya asked her.

"Please, do you think Avie could be tamed? She's probably out in the wild or something, staying far away from the disaster that the Arkians are." Fico suggested. That's interesting... Does Fico think we're disasters? Is she not an Arkian herself?

"Living on her own? Do you think she's stupid enough to do that? I'll give you three guesses. Why don't you go ahead and guess where Avie is." Illya asked. She sat down on a rock and stared up at Fico. Illya didn't feel threatened at all... but wasn't Fico our enemy?

"Why are you having me guess? Are you searching for ideas?" Fico asked Illya again. She stood with her hands in her pockets and Illya shook her head while tapping the base of her left hand.

"Avie isn't roaming around... she was waiting for Sky Asterio to reawaken. And I'll tell you this right now, you were right, Cole is losing." Illya said.

Lia and Lily both grabbed Fico's arms and Illya shot up, taking an earpiece from her head before Fico could warn Cole, and she smashed it before Fico could retrieve it.

"Still use the same tactics when you lose a member? Wow, I can see Quake is really falling apart without me." Illya said, wiping the particles of the earpiece out of her hands.

"GET OFF OF ME! You have no idea what you're doing you dumb bitch! Reawakening Avie will put a beacon on Sky's back and Eirikr would kill him right away! You've lost!" Fico screamed out.

"Do you think so? What do you think I've been doing on this stupid planet while you were playing up in your spaceship? Do you think I was just sitting around?" Illya asked again.

What did she mean by that...?

"My Incarnation blocks all strands from repairing vessels, from creating things, or from passing through things. Part of the reason I haven't already killed you is that I simply don't have the strength to. Eirikr has no vision of Earth because my Incarnation is blocking him. And, you can't leave this atmosphere unless you kill me." Illya said. She dragged her finger across her neck with a smile.

"I've locked you in a cage with Avie, who's about to start killing your group, and you can't do a damn thing about it," Illya said.

So... this is what she's been doing all along... it was honestly very smart... but still insane to hear.

"Fine... I'll admit, you got me, but what now? What's stopping me from killing everybody here?" Fico asked. She brandished her weapon and I activated my Eye of Providence, simply watching for her next move.

"Putting more targets on yourself means you're more likely to get hit. I think that applies to all things. You attack us, and you will die. Maybe, even if there's a sliver of a chance left, we can become allies and take down Eirikr together." Illya suggested to Fico.

"No. That's out of the question. I would never betray him." Fico explained.

"Alright then, if you leave, you won't die. Stay out of our hair, and we won't hunt for you." Illya said to her. I wasn't too keen on letting somebody like this roam free... but to avoid conflict, for now, it would be best. Boo can't keep that speed up forever, and Fico seems to have plenty of reserved stamina left.

"Your strategy is banking off if Avie is strong enough to kill me. I'd rather test my luck here and now and get you troublesome bunch out of the way. However... your deal also intrigues me. I guess I don't have a problem with any of you... then, I'll leave for now. But, don't expect me gone for so long. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to leave." Fico said. She went to use her ability, as strands activated in her body... but she didn't move.

"At least I know you aren't the smart one. When I explained my Incarnation to you, did you forget about it? Or can you tell there's a barrier around you?" Illya asked.

How could she plan that far ahead... she didn't seem this smart beforehand.

"You got me. Fine, I'll stay put then." Fico said, sitting down on the floor with her legs facing the city.

"Quake doesn't excel in intelligence, do they?" I asked Fico to antagonize her, but she shrugged.

"Neither does Illya. Sky formed that plan, didn't he?" Fico asked, keeping her eyes toward the city. I looked at Illya with a gaze from my side, and she confirmed that statement.

"He wasn't too smart when he woke up, but with fourteen years of actual experience, especially in combat, he's learned a few things. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed with his plan, but as soon as he figured out my Incarnation, we purposefully plotted against you, to keep you pinned down to one place while we kill the rest of Quake. Tell me, they're here too, aren't they?" Illya asked, looking down at Fico.

And she nodded.
