The agony and rage were persistent in their attempts to reassert themselves.
Both John and Lisa were standing there together, with Lisa focusing her attention on the night sky.
"What in the world are you talking about, Lisa?" John questioned the reason for the delay.
"John. When we were in your room earlier, I believe there was a bit of a misunderstanding that occurred."
"I believe that I expressed myself rather clearly, Miss Lisa," the speaker added.
"No. Certainly not you, John. Not you. It's me. It was me, so no worries there. I―" After a few moments had passed, Lisa gave a shocked shake of the head and then swiftly replied, "You know what, I'm not going to apologize. Absolutely not, not even over my dead corpse! You, John, are a complete jackass for the way in which you behaved in this situation. I don't even know what I was thinking, do I? Your safety pin has been updated following my adjustment. What exactly made it such an awful thing to do? You are erroneous if you think that I found a solution to the problem because of the fact that you require a wheelchair in addition to the other accommodations. Your wheelchair is not in the least bit relevant to my concerns at all. Nobody does. For the record, regardless of the position the other person was in—whether they were standing, sitting, lying down, or throwing up—I would have treated them the same. You, John, made a mess out of it, but if it had been bothering my soul, I would have mended that half-assed pinned brooch, and I did fix it. You do not automatically qualify for additional attention or preferred treatment just due to the fact that you use a wheelchair, at least not in my eyes. Put a stop to that immediately. You have no right to criticize me in any way, and I have no obligation to do so. John, are you able to comprehend what I'm saying?
'Phew. It is no longer hidden from view. Now, even if you throw me out of the house, I won't hold it against you; I won't hold it against you.' Lisa was contemplating this thought in her head. Always maintaining a level head was just something that came naturally to her. As a result, she has never been the type of person who enjoys a good argument, not even in the tiniest degree.
Lisa readied herself in anticipation of the explosion that John was going to make. On the other hand, John was the one who was heard laughing.
Lisa saw that as a portent of good fortune, and as a result, she experienced a significant improvement in her mood.
"Great. John said, showing a smug expression on his face, "Now I know that you treat me like an actual human and not some broken puppy." He had a mood that could be described as extremely cheery.
Lisa laughed along with him and shared his joy.
"Excuse me, Miss Lisa, but is it possible that we could talk for just a second?"
"Yes? On top of that, let's do away with the unnecessary formalities, shall we? Please don't hesitate to ask questions if there is anything in particular that interests you.
"Okay, Miss Lisa. It would mean the world to me if you could put on a show for me right now. Your music is quite relaxing, and if I listened to it any longer, I think I would fall asleep. "Are you under the impression that you'll be able to pull that off?" John was the one who made the inquiry.
"Oh, John; you ought to have some common sense. I believe that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
"Thank you, Miss Lisa."
After a little pause, Lisa remarked, "However, there is one requirement that must be met." "You are expected to avoid from addressing me as Miss Lisa and must instead refer to me only by my name or any other word of your choosing." "You are required to desist from addressing me as Miss Lisa."
John addressed Lisa and stated, "I think it is something I'm capable of accomplishing," in response to her question.
When Lisa overheard John calling her name, she couldn't help but break out in a broad smile. The way in which he expressed himself prompted her to become flushed. Lisa. Lisa. Lisa.
John stepped out the door while looking back over his shoulder and saying, "I guess it's time for me to leave this party," as he was saying goodbye to his friends.
"So soon?" Lisa questioned John as she looked in the direction that John was staring and wondered what he was looking at when she did so.
If I stay here, the rest of the team won't be able to have as much fun as they normally would be able to have in this situation.
