Even when the light was at its strongest, it was easy to make out a glow that appeared to originate from within Lisa while it was shining on her. 

This glow was visible regardless of how brilliant the light was, and this glow could be seen even when the amount of light present was at its maximum.

The members of the audience halted what they were doing in their own lives in order to pay attention to her as she moved to a higher key and brought an end to her performance. 

They became aware of an increase in the tenderness in their hearts, an ease in their breathing, and the beginnings of a happy grin on their faces as they observed these changes.

She was singled out as the center of attention in a frenzy of clapping that was directed in the general direction that she was moving in.
