The Ancient Curse (Cecillia's Point Of Views)

I was, of course, still curious about what Amadea meant by having avenged everything. Hopefully, it wasn't something bad.

"Cecilia."

"Yes?"

"Marry me."

"Sorry?"

I was quite surprised by the proposal just now. I now understood that my relationship with Amadea was a relationship made by the gods, but I still needed time to process all of this. Everything happened so fast that I didn't have time to think about it.

From the beginning, Amadea did introduce me as his wife. I didn't really understand because the man did it without talking to me first. Besides, we were not married yet, and I just got to know his name today. We might be bound by a certain bond, but I had said my marriage vows with another man.

Maybe if I hadn't become King Theodore's concubine I would have received it with open arms, but … I already had a husband, and it was likely that King Theodore must be looking for me right now.
