Starla's Apartment
"Gretta ..."
Elena also looked at Gretta with her palms covering her lips in disbelief, grimacing when she saw the pathetic state of the girl who was currently sitting on the bed facing her.
Her eyes immediately rolled and stared blankly at the white sheet with red spots on it, before finally turning her head to see the blank eyes that Gretta was displaying.
Although her gaze was sharp, for some reason it felt empty for her who had seen the blue eyes many times.
Yes, the beautiful blue eyes who usually always stares down and sharply at the people around her, a look that makes her hate the figure in front of her.
Then Gretta, slowly her eyes that were staring intently changed and became more and more wistful. She decided to turn her face the other way, then tried to get out of bed by trying not to let out a sad moan.
Hold on Gretta, you can't look weak in front of them, Gretta said in her heart.
Her slow movements finally paid off, when she reached the edge of the bed and slowly raised herself to stand.
Ukhh…
It hurts so bad, Gretta thought while biting her lip.
Her legs felt like they had turned to jelly, she even managed to stop herself from shaking when she felt the pain from last night's pain.
"Gretta, I'm here to help!" cried Starla pitifully.
"Too late, the help should have been last night," Gretta answered without taking her eyes off her, preferring to stare at the floor and then try to move.
Gaps!
The throbbing in her area, made Gretta suddenly pause with her lips hurting and the two girls who witnessed her move, were about to take a step but failed again when they heard a sharp prohibition.
"Don't come near me, just save your pity for someone else."
Thump!
Starla and Elena were silent for a moment, as Gretta glared again.
"Next time don't be like this, just me," she continued.
After that, Gretta walked back limply and picked up her clothes one by one. Fortunately, she survived, although parts of her arms and bottom were torn but it was not very visible.
Gretta also put them back one by one from the deepest in front of Strala and Elena who could only stay silent.
"Hey! You two," Gretta mumbled softly, but it was clear enough for Starla and Elena to hear their bodies tense up again.
There was no answer, but Gretta knew her muttering was heard by the two girls behind her.
"You know, at first I was really excited about what you guys had planned? A friendship party."
"Really, this is the first party that made me have such beautiful thoughts before."
"How about when we shop together, dance and share laughter for the first time of our friendship that has existed since four years ago."
"I feel so happy when I hear you guys say that we are friends."
Gretta paused for a moment, only to feel a sting as she put her clothes on, then shook her head to divert the pain.
Not long from Gretta's silence, the voice of one of them rang out and those who heard it gasped in surprise, as her surname was brought along.
It was because of my family, Gretta thought, smiling sadly.
"No I don't consider you a friend at all-
"Elena!"
"Shut up Starla! I just want her to know, if she and her family deserve to be hated and I don't consider her a friend at all," continued Elena who suddenly couldn't contain her emotions "You and your greedy Grandma, I hate it. I hate you to the root," she added quickly.
Gretta was silent for a moment, before finally continuing to wear her clothes. "Is this why you hate me?" she asked sadly. "I'm sorry, if I was wrong," she continued, this time a dress with torn sleeves it was plugged back in.
She also turned her body with teary eyes and looked at the two with a small smile. "Is your feigning friendship solved all this time and all because I'm the Grinsons?"
"Starla, Elena," Gretta called when the answer was not received again.
Silence, neither of them answered at all even though it was only a name calling.
Huft..
Gretta took a breath and again limped past the two, feeling that she would not get an answer.
Now she had arrived at the exit, she glanced over her shoulder again and the two girls didn't even turn to look at her.
"Hey! Starla, Elena. If I wasn't a part of Grinson, would I be able to be friends with the two of you with such sincerity?"
Thump!
"To be honest I didn't want to be born into the Grinson family either, to be an adored young Miss. I really don't want to."
Gretta paused again to take a deep breath.
Huft..
"Me, have you ever thought of me as a friend? As Gretta? As an ordinary girl who accompanied you for four years?"
Thump! Thump! Thump!
"In fact, I just want to be able to make friends and joke with you like normal peers. But apparently you can't, you hate me too much because I'm Grinson. All right, thanks for the party. Starla, Elena. Really, I love you."
After feeling that there was nothing more to say, Gretta finally limped out of the apartment, after picking up her bag that was lying on the sofa.
Blame!
The sound of the door closing was the last thing heard, before the two girls were together sat up and suddenly burst into tears.
Gretta...
Don't cry, your cries are useless, because what has been destroyed will never be perfect again even if it has been put together.
Back to Gretta
At this time, Gretta is walking away from the apartment which will be the most beautiful building she hates. Everything she was going through right now would also be hated by her, especially her own family.
If only she wasn't born as a Grinson, she was sure that this misfortune wouldn't happen to her. She didn't need to put on a proud mask, she didn't need to accept the fearful stares from her friends around her every level of education she goes through and most importantly, she doesn't have to endure the hatred of her two friends.
But she wants to know how else, the rice has become porridge and time can not be repeated at will.
Feet on heels that stepped into a park with many people passing by. Understandably, on vacation and all use it for sports or doing other activities.
Gretta sat on a park bench shaded by a shady tree branch. She was daydreaming there in a pathetic state, until some people looked at her strangely.
Ah! That is true.
Gretta grimaced with her head lowered, something she had never done in her eighteen years on earth.
So, she decided to wash her face in a public shower, with water that she could drink when she felt her throat dry. However, as soon as her feet took a step, a collision on the shoulder almost made her fall.
Brugh!
"Ah! I'm sorry."
"It does not matter."
