A Park Date

Valerie's eyes fell on the three year old sitting on the couch. Her gaze then shifted to Leslie who placed the child there just now.

"Valerie, I have to go now. I am already being late. Take care of her. Everything needed is in the bag."

Before Valerie was able to say anything, her friend ran out of the door.

Her line of sight then went towards the girl who looked back at her, and she pressed her temples.

Leslie left her daughter, Aria, in her care while she had to go on a date with Damien. The nanny was sick and couldn't make it. Apparently, Valerie was the only one with free time in her hand.

Of course, Valerie didn't understand what part of her working in the office translated to Leslie that she was free. Her friend didn't even let her have an opinion before leaving the three year old here.

And now, Valerie found herself in an awkward position.
