Watching the child play in the playground, Lucian was seated on the bench with Valerie, holding on to her hand. There was an expression of tranquility on their faces.

"She is really cute, isn't she?" asked Lucian, watching the little girl go down the slide while grinning.

Valerie nodded.

"I think it would be even cuter if there was a small girl who looked exactly like you. Imagine her playing around with those two legs and a bright smile," he voiced out.

This caught Valerie off guard. She knew what Lucian was hinting about, and it left her without words for a second.

"Wouldn't it be better if the child looked like you? You were more adorable as a baby," she pointed out.

Both of them never discussed about babies. They were satisfied with the current momentum of matters, and thinking about it now, the idea of it felt nice.
