Lexi woke up cocooned in Alex's strong arms with her head resting on his muscular shoulder snuggled into a comforting embrace. She lifted her head up she gazed into a pair of gorgeous green hazel eyes .

He smiled,"Good morning sweetheart did you finely get some rest?"

"I did , thank you for rescuing me from the zombies and keeping me safe all night." She replied, flashing him her most dazzling smile.

Alex smirked ,as he straightened his shoulders slightly ,sounding gallant and humble. "It's my duty to save you princess."

"And what have I done to deserve such honor, Your Majesty."

" You my lady, are the most beautiful Princess in the country, and as such ,it's my honor to protect you" he grinned, leaning over giving her a pecking kiss on the forehead.

She narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously

" Hum, Now let's see," she hummed placing her finger on her cheek." I have no choice but to believe what you say to be the truth. However it's only because I'm the only Princess in the country." She giggled

"Now my lady ,as the most beautiful Princess in the country His Majesty request your presence in the dining room for breakfast." He chuckled, not being able to hold a straight face ,changing his voice back to his normal one " Now, go get ready, I'll be back in a hour."

" You know ,running away from Zombies made my legs tired , so tired, I'm not sure if I can get out of bed." She grinned

" Oh, I see, he replied reaching over with one swift yank he pulled the blanket off her body ,sending shivers down her spine.

" ALEX " she screamed jumping from the bed.

He chuckled, " See your legs are fine, now go." he pointed towards the bathroom.

"You cheated" she shouted as she Sauntering into the big closet and grabbed a pair of blush colored pants and a white camisole with a blush colored short blazer . She peaked back into the bedroom to see Alex had already left.

Ah, perhaps she can take a relaxing bath in the big bath tub, she thought to herself. After filling the big bathtub almost all the way to the top and squeezing bubble bath into it .She stepped over into the hot water and relaxed a few minutes before quickly getting dressed and pulled her curly hair back in a low ponytail with fringe curls falling around her face.

She never wears makeup, except when she goes to events and fundraisers.

Cosmetic companies all over the world have ask her to endorse their products,she had to decline their offer,she feels like it would be wrong to endorse a product she never used .

However she has a favorite tinted lipgloss she uses every day .Most of the time she carries it in her pocket. She walked to the makeup table picking up her lipgloss and put it on. Glancing over to the clock on the night stand she seen it would be a few minutes before Alex returned. She picked up her phone and text her best friend Karmen ,

[Lexi] your not going to believe what happened on the way to the castle.

[karmen] Did you run into people trying to hurt you ?

[Lexi] No No! Nothing like that. I got drunk 😂😂

[Karmen] What the fuck 😱 How did that happen.

[Lexi] We stopped to eat and Alex ordered wine and champagne . I got totally wasted, I even got sick 🤮

[karmen ] wow! What else happened?

[Lexi] I barfed 🤮 on Alex and we had to stop and get a hotel room.

[ Karmen] 😂😂😂

[Lexi] I was sick as hell, Alex said you can come visit me here. Ask your dad and Tex me back.

[Karmen] Alright, I will ask tonight and text you back at 7

Before she had a chance to turn her phone off their was a knock on the door, slipping her phone in her pocket, she shouted,"It's open, come on in."

When the door opened Alex stood there looking like a super model in an expensive tailored suit . His black suit made just for him fit perfectly over his broad shoulders and muscular arms . The fabric hugged his body like a glove ,wide at the shoulders narrowing down into a v shape at the waist.

His crisp white shirt ,with the gray and black silk tie made him look elegant and impressive, and his long muscular legs looked perfect in his black trousers. The man that stood in front of her was truly drool worthy, she had no doubt he was to blame for many young women's wet dreams.

She was awestruck at the sight of this stately gorgeous creature in front of her . She couldn't take her eyes off of him. He held his hand out for her to take . Speaking as elegantly as he looked "Are you ready sweetheart?"

She blinked to clear her mind. Ah, yes that's right she remembered now that's her man.

" yes" she breathed," Uh, Alex, do you always dress so nice for court even though you will be wearing a Royal robe?"

"No Sweetheart , after court there is a council meeting today."He replied, "I usually only wear a white shirt and a tie."

As they walked down the long hallway, his hand slipped from her waist to her hip . She was getting used to Alex rubbing and touching her. She was even beginning to feel a little comfort from his lite caresses.

"Would you like to be in court with me today?" He ask, hoping she will say yes. It would put his mind at ease if she was in his visual range. But it surly wouldn't be much fun for her, so he didn't get his hopes up for her to say yes.

"I think I will just try to explore the castle some more. I need to learn my way around.

I ask my friend Karmen to come visit me here. She is going to ask her dad if it will be ok. She's going to text me back if she can come." She babbled, as they made their way towards the dining room.

"That's fine Sweetheart we have a lot of guest rooms."he replied, as they stepped into the dining room, Alex halted, he cocked a dark brow.

Lexi looked ahead to see why he stopped walking. Her eyes landed on a breathtakingly handsome young man setting at the table . She looked at the handsome young man at the table ,then back up at Alex . She could tell this man was some kin to Alex, because they shared the same alluring and elegant features, almost as if they were twins.

The man at the table looked younger then Alex .He had a slim but well defined body,

with the same beautiful hazel green eyes and dark black hair Alex has.

Alex seemed a bit surprised by seeing this young man here. He took a couple more stepped towards the table and the young man at the table stood up.

Alex narrowed his eyes and lifted his brows slightly questioning the handsome young man "Jackson what brings you here?"

"I came to have breakfast with my brother and to meet Princess Alexis."

She watched the two man, wondering what was going on . Alex didn't seem to be pleased with what this man just said. Alex cleared his throat and looked over at the man in front of them introducing him to her.

" Jackson this is Princess Alexis Whitley , Lexi this is my brother Jackson."

"Very nice to meet you Princess Alexis " Jackson greeted ,Bowing his head slightly , he was quick to pick up her hand and place a kiss on the back of it. Lexi returned the greeting " it's nice to meet you too Prince Jackson."

Alex glanced over at Jackson as he motioned towards the table, spouting out orders. "Now sit and tell me what is going on."

Alex didn't know how Jackson knew Lexi was at the Castle , because he hasn't told anyone yet ,about him and Lexi planning to get married . And the only people who knew Lexi was at the Castle ,was his loyal employees and Lexi's family.

"Now tell me Jackson, who in my Castle has been disloyal to me?" He demanded
