You can’t park there

Jackson ran up stairs, and quickly changed into a dark blue polo shirt, joining Alex back in the kitchen of his historic mansion.

He grabbed a set of keys from the counter by the back door heading out to the garage.

" We'll take the new car I bought for Karmen I haven't had a chance to drive it yet, it's a family car."

Amused, Alex chuckled , "your already buying family cars?

"Well yeah, you can't put car seats in sports cars." Jackson explained as he pushed a button on the keys in his hand to open the garage door.

He walked inside getting into a brand new black Rolls Royce Phantom pulling it out of the garage for Alex to get inside. " how do you like it? " He asked, pulling down the brick driveway up to the iron gate.

He played with the radio buttons, chatted with Alex and adjusted the mirror while the gate slowly opened for them to drive through.

"Karmen told me she didn't want a bunch of domestic help, she said one maid is fine. She likes to cook and go to the grocery store herself."

Alex looked around the luxurious car, checking out the back seat and all the features ,noticing the smooth ride almost as you were floating on a cloud. " It's a really nice car, but what if Dr. Burnheart's vitamins work, you don't know if Karmen has any twins or triplets in her family . You could fill it up the first time Karmen gives birth."

" She won't be taking anymore of those damm pills after that. I already told her one time with the pills that's all. And if we have triplets that's fine. She will be busy making cookies and buying juice boxes."

"So you really think she will give up on having more kids after that."

"I really don't know Alex, but I guess if she don't we can get one of those big SUV's you know, like soccer moms have."

As they chatted Jackson pulled the car onto the street where he last seen the disappearing woman. Alex pointed out the window at a shop with a sign in front in the shape of a big donut. " Park in front of that donut shop. That's Ben's shop ,it's the place I got Beth a job. Maybe she's working today or better yet maybe both her and Ben are in there."

They parked right in front of the big donut, a man came running out shouting,

" Hay, buddy you can't park there."

Alex stepped out of the car shouting back at the man " Fuck you, I'll park any damm where I want."

Jackson shook his head, thinking to himself he didn't bring his damm brother down here to fight with a man in a white apron, they came to find the disappearing woman.

When he looked out the window to see Alex patting the man on the back he turned the car off and stepped out to be introduced to the man on the sidewalk .

" Jackson this is Ben he trained with me and Rich he's Mr. Marlins grandson."

The man named Ben bowed to Jackson greeting him responsible."Nice to meet you Prince Jackson." Only to be razzed by Alex.

"What the fuck Ben, just call him Jackson."

" What the hell are you doing down here, I know you didn't come to eat donuts. If you come to check on the girl you sent me she's doing a great job." Ben told Alex

"No, Ben I come to ask you a few questions about a woman."

Ben chuckled, cracking a joke "Alex you can't be out chasing woman, the Princess will have you be headed in front of Whitley Castle if she finds out."

" Your right Ben, but she already knows I'm looking for this woman."

Ben patted Alex on the shoulder ,saying

" Alex you and Jackson come in out of the sun. And we can set down and talk a little while."

Inside the charming, popular little shop, there was several tables setting about, all of them occupied by people. Glass show cases displayed different colorful donuts of all shapes and sizes, a couple of them even held cup cakes and puffed pastries.

Three young woman was working behind the counter one of them Alex recognized she was busy checking out a young man with two little children and didn't see Alex walk in .

Before anyone noticed Alex and Jackson and caused a commotion Ben took them to a tidy little office in the back.

Ben set behind his desk while Alex and Jackson set in two swiveling office chairs in front of it. Alex didn't waste any time and got right to the purpose of their visit.

"Ben like I was telling you out front, I'm looking for a woman, she has gray hair and wears it in a bun do you know anyone who fits that description?"

Ben thought about it a little bit, trying to match the description Alex gave him to the customers that visit his shop.

" Alex there's a lot of gray headed woman who come in here. Did she walk with a cane or a limp ,was she tall or fat ,give me a little more to go on."

Alex turned and lifted his brows asking Jackson for a little help,

" well, do you remember anything else about her?"

" Alex, I remember she had on a black skirt kinda long, and a black shirt. Just a regular button up one. She didn't have a limp or anything ." Frustrated he blurted out "Fuck Alex she disappeared what else do you want me to remember about her."

" Ben this woman were looking for she could be dangerous. Jackson told me she disappeared right before his eyes."

Ben leaned forward narrowing his eyes, asking Alex to clarify what he just said.

" wait a minute Alex you said this woman disappeared, like just vanished into thin air."

Taking a ink pen out of his desk Ben started scribbling on a note pad . Speaking to Alex as he was writing. " Alex, I tell you who might know more about someone like that.

Go down here about two blocks and take a right ,there's a woman down there who reads cards for a living, she has a sign out front of her shop shaped like a big hand, you can't miss it. She might know more about something like that. They say she's the real deal a fortune teller, a seer a for real old time soothsayer."
