Other witches

Jackson looked into the women's eyes and listened to her heart beat as she was speaking to him. " Prince Jackson to answer your first question the lady you met on the street yesterday is a witch her name is Belinda Newbury .She lives in an apartment over the little grocery store down the street. She was ostracized from her coven several years back."

She nodded towards the cash on the table, Jackson thumbed through the stack, sliding her a portion of them. Bringing his eyes back up to her's wordlessly telling her to continue .He kept a stoic expression and set motionless listening to every word she was saying. Alex also set observing her as she spoke to Jackson.

" As I was saying Princess Jackson the lady you met yesterday is a witch , she was ostracized from her coven they said she went crazy and started making poisonous potions and putting spells on them. She poisoned her own daughter and her daughter's husband. They say she claimed her daughter's husband was a demon and he had possessed her daughter to seduce her."

She nodded towards the stack of cash on the table ,Jackson thumbed through the stack again sliding a few more of the one hundred dollar bills over to her, keeping the stoic expression on his face.

"She has cast a spell on herself to keep me from getting a reading on her, but I can tell you none of the other witches support her, they all say she is crazy." Alex raised a brow, bringing his eyes up to met her's " other witches", he asked curiously?"

" Yes your Majesty, they all live together in a coven out in Pine Hills. Some of them have normal jobs and work here in the city .They travel together to and from work. That is where I got the information about Belinda Newbury .I know some of the witches who work here in the city. They are peaceful and never cause any trouble for vampires or humans."

She paused a moment lifting her eyes towards the stack of cash, Jackson gladly pushed a few more hundred dollar bills her way. Raising his eyes back up to have her continue .

" Anyway as I was saying the witches are peaceful, they are the same as humans with out their magic, they don't possess any abilities like vampires. If you would like to speak to some of them I'm sure they would be happy to tell you anything you would like to know. There is no need to be weary of them they could never be a threat to vampires. Especially a vampire as powerful as you Your Majesty.

She turned her gaze back towards Jackson, " Prince Jackson, I feel you have more questions for me, it seems your quite curious to know something about your wife. But your confused thoughts and feelings are messing with my reading. If you would like me to try and answer your questions just ask me. I will be glad to tell you what type of feeling I get from it."

He thumbed the one hundred dollar bills underneath his hand, his stoic expression never changing, the tone of his voice was calm and relaxed as he spoke. "I was really wondering why that woman was yelling at my wife. And how she just disappeared right before my eyes?"

" Prince Jackson, I can tell you how she disappeared. Witches can chant a spell and teleport themselves a short distance. But only if they have been to that place before.

For instance a witch can't teleport themselves into your house if they have never been inside of it before. But I can't tell you why she was yelling at your wife. Like I told you she has cast a spell on herself to keep me from reading her. But if you would like me to do a reading on your wife, I would be happy to do that for you. And who knows Ms. Newbury may tell you herself if you ask her. There is only one apartment above the grocery store down the street."

Both Alex and Jackson stood up together, Jackson pushed the rest of the stack of cash over to the red headed woman. Taking a business card from his pocket, he slid it across the table in front of her. Speaking in the same low placate voice as before.

" Madam Farzaneh, thank you for your time, if you happen to have any more information for me on this matter please don't hesitate to call."

" I will certainly do that , and like I said, if you would like to bring your wife in for a reading I would be happy to do one on her. She may hold all the answers to your questions in her soul and my not even realize it."
