Did you miss me

When the morning sun peeked through the room , Alex reached his long arm across the the bed , he didn't open his eyes but he patted around on top of the mattress rubbing his hand around on the smooth cotton sheets. He then reached his arm further across the bed until his finger tips touched the edge of the the mattress.

When he didn't feel Lexi in the bed beside him, his eyes snapped open, he pushed his self up on his elbows glancing around the room to see the French doors opened leading out onto the balcony.

He immediately threw the blanket back , scurrying over to the opened door, the smile that wasn't on his face a few seconds earlier, pulled up on his lips at the sight of the beautiful woman in front of him.

Her long light blonde hair dance in the wind as her slim figure leaned over the railing taking in the peaceful view in front of her.

He quietly walking over behind her and put his arms around her waist ,taking her attention from the vast seemingly endless turquoise water in front of her. He kissed her neck and whispered on her skin, " Good morning sweetheart " his husky morning voice sounded seductive to her ears and his words brushed against her skin ,tickling her neck. It made her eyes light up and a beautiful smile curl on her lips." Good morning, did I wake you up." She ask him in a soft voice, leaning her head to the side so that she could look into his gorgeous hazel eyes.

" No sweetheart, I woke up and didn't find you beside me ,all I found was an empty bed." He whispered onto her neck, tightening his hug around her.

" Did you miss me?" She teased, smiling up at him.

" Sweetheart, I miss you every second your not in my arms." he said , in a gentle serious voice , Confirming that indeed, he did miss her in the bed beside him this morning. His attention was pulled away from the beautiful woman in his arms ,when he heard the French doors open just a few feet away from them.

He glanced over to see Jackson step out onto the balcony. Unlike Alex who was standing with his arms around Lexi, naked as the day he was born. Jackson was already dressed in a pair of olive green cargo shorts and a white and dark green printed shot sleeved button up shirt . He also had on a pair of rugged looking brown hiking shoes , looking like he was ready to explore the island.

Earlier when he heard voices out on the balcony. He never expected to walk out to find his brother stark naked when he stepped out to speak with him. He was glad to see his sister-in-law had clothes on ,or it could have become a little awkward.

He slightly chuckled and spoke to Alex ignoring the fact that he didn't have any clothes on. " Alex when you get dressed, knock on our door and we can all go down together." Turning on his heels he nonchalantly walked back into his room to see if Karmen had finished dressing yet.

He found her sitting on the bed looking at the new brown rugged hiking shoes he had bought for her , she had her brows tugged together with her nose wrinkled, glaring down at the shoe in her hand. When he seen the disapproving look on her face ,he chuckled, and his demands echoed through the room." put them on priss , you don't know what type of terrain the island has."

" There ugly, they look like men's shoes."

she hissed in protest .

Bending down in front of her he took the shoe from her hand glancing around the bed he found her little low cut socks and slipped them on her feet. He took the shoe and slid her foot into it, pulling the laces tightly just to hear whine

" stop that's to thigh, it's squeezing the top of my foot. He didn't loosen the lace he just reached over getting the other shoe out of the box pushing it onto her other foot, lacing it the same way, laughing at her rebellious attitude towards the brown hiking shoes.

Reaching his hand out for her's he helped her to stand telling her what he wanted her to do " Babe , stand up and walk around the laces are made to stretch out and form around your foot to support it , that's the reason you tie them tight when you first put them on."

After he got her to walk around the room for a few minutes. The laces stretched to form a comfortable cocoon around her foot. She finally walked over to him wrapping her arms around his waist. He leaned over to kiss the top of her head , but he couldn't resist teasing her. "Tip-toe babe, I'm going to get a cramp in my neck if I bend my head any lower."

" If you let me wear my wedge heels, you wouldn't need to bend your neck so far." She tried reasoning with him.

" You can't go tromping around in the forest with high heel shoes on. You'll break your damm neck." He said ,Pulling her away from him to look at her clothes ,to see what she was wearing.

He had told her to pack something comfortable, that she could climb and move freely in. To his surprise she did have on a pair of blue jean shorts and a white cotton lace tank top. Before he could complain about the white lace tank top, Alex knocked on the door, he grabbed her hand taking her to the door with him.

They both stepped out into the hallway to find out Alex has something else on his mind for today instead of exploring the Island and getting to know their away around the old Mansion.
