When the two couples stepped inside the dining room they found the table was set with beautiful white dishes with little pink roses on them .A big bouquet of fresh pink roses set in the middle of the table. A buffet was set up with different food dishes for them to enjoy. A serving cart set beside the table with fresh squeezed orange juice, milk, hot coffee and a bottles of water. A bottle of deer blood and a fine bottle of dark red wine set on the end of the buffet table in silver wine chillers.

Delaney the caretaker and his lovely wife stood to the side of the table to welcome them. When Alex stepped forward to speak they bowed their head to greet him. " Good morning Your Majesty my name is Marsha. I have cook a few things and I'm hear to serve you. if you would like to take a seat." After the woman named Marsha spoke to Alex, he surprised both of them. Marsha I would like you and Delaney to join us for breakfast. I would like to speak with the two of you for a few minutes." He held his hand out to jester towards the chairs at the table.

Delaney and Marsha both wordlessly nodded , Delaney moved to pull out Lexi's chair, but Alex was already there to do that for her. He glanced over to the other side , to see Jackson had done the same thing for Karmen.

This new generation of Royals was something different then what he had been accustomed to .In the past no king ever pulled a chair out for anyone, not even for himself. And they had never been invited to eat at the same table that the King and Queen sat.

Noticing the shocked expression on the man's face Alex being to speak to help ease the tension the man was feeling.

" Let's all get our food." Alex said ,the woman named Marsha began to move to serve the food. Alex held up his hand and spoke again. " Marsha you and Delaney just relax there's no one at this table that's not capable of filling their own plate and getting their own drinks."

Alex stood up to have everyone follow him, he was surprised by the all the different dishes the woman had prepared . It seemed like Delaney had informed her that they had human guests. The dishes on the buffet was spread from end to end. She had made homemade biscuits with sausage gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pancakes and French toast, sausage, bacon and steaks cooked rear . Everything humans and vampires usually eat for breakfast.

After everyone filled their plate they all set down at the table . Jackson pulled Karmen over to his side and began to feed her. Delaney and his wife had a look of surprise on their face , but didn't comment about the young prince with a fork in his hand putting food in his wife's mouth.

Karmen turned red, embarrassed by the way Jackson refused to let her feed herself even when they were out in public around strangers. She grumbled under her breath

" Jackson please, let me do this myself."

However as always her pleases just feel on deaf ears. " Stop whining and just eat." he shot back. Alex noticed Delaney and his wife were a little confused by the commotion on the right side of the table.

" Never mind those two, this is a everyday thing with them. Alex said, he picked up his fork but didn't eat. He glanced around the room at the antique furniture and the candle lit chandelier . The heavy drapes where pulled back to let in the natural light. He glanced back at Delaney speaking with him about his plans for the old Mansion.

" Delaney, Prince Jackson and I will look around the old mansion in the near future to get it updated, with electricity and few other things, it seems Queen Alexis is quite taken with the ocean .We will probably be coming out quite often."

" That's wonderful to hear Your Majesty , the only thing that has been updated in this Mansion is the kitchen it is the only room that has electricity and a gas cook stove your grandfather had it installed around 1960, before that ,the cook stove was wood and food had to be stored in the cave at the edge of the woods to keep it cold." Delaney explained

Jackson pulled his attention away from Karmen to join in on the conversation. "Alex if the kitchen has already been wired and they have a generator system already in place it's a simple fix to wire the rest of the house. We can have everything shipped in a container for the job site, You know Karmen's grandfather has a lot of ships. I'll take a quick look to see what it will take for the wiring ,the rest of the updates can wait. I think the vintage antiques just add to the charm of the place." He told Alex then continued to ramble about his wedding plans "I really think I want to get married here . Me and Karmen only plan to have family,and I can have everyone brought out on my yacht. My guest list is really short, you ,Lexi ,mother, Karmen's family and Lexi's mom and dad. Ten to twelve people at the most." Karmen tugged her brows together, shooting daggers with her eyes at him.

" what, You don't want get married here.?"

He ask, waiting for her to answer

" I didn't say that, but I need to look around to see if I like it here." She uttered back quietly not wanting to make a scene in front of people.

"You two can decide that later, maybe even fly back Monday. Lexi's parents are coming Monday, but your parents aren't coming until Wednesday. And I will have several of Rich's men in the castle for extra security.

" I have a couple more questions to ask Delaney, then we can take a quick look around the place but I have something else in mind for us to do today." Alex said, turning his head towards Delaney who was looking curiously at him on what the king wanted from him.

" Delaney, you said last night my great grandfather Evander was still alive, you see me and Jackson have never had the pleasure of meeting him and I really don't know what to expect from demons, do they cherish family like vampires, what I'm really asking you, do you think our great grandfather would like to meet us."

" Your Majesty, Demons are very much like vampires, but you see their are even fewer of us and as you know it's easy for vampires to detect our unusual heart beat. And as you know your grandmother was like Princess Karmen it was only slightly detectable to vampires and witches. Unlike mine and your great grandfather's. I believe he stayed away only for your and your brothers safety . I believe he would be more then happy to meet the two of you, he still sets on the throne as the ruler of Vital."

Alex turned to look at his brother, to tell him his plan "we can make a quick trip through the house and the girls can stay here in the dining room, it will be quicker that way, then we're flying to Vital to meet great grandfather."
