" I see what your saying, I think Princess Alexis and His Majesty King Alexander are the most beautiful couple I've ever seen." She praised the happy Royal couple.

"So ,what is your problem with going out with an older man?" He ask sincerely but with a bit of curiosity.

She looked up into his mesmerizing golden eyes but before she could answer his questions the elevator came to a stop. They stepped out into the hallway she seen the two Royal couples walking down the hallway towards them.

Harper immediately stepped to the side bowing her head as she waited for them to pass by .She had expected King Evander to continue walking towards his bedroom .

However that didn't happen, he too backed up against the wall and waited for Alex to approach them. King Evander smiled and greeted his great grandson " Hay Alex, what time are we leaving tonight?"

" I guess after you change your shirt." Alex said, pointing out the brown spots that dotted his great grandfather's chest.

King Evander glanced down at his white shirt splattered with cola, he chuckled " It seems that I have become clumsy today. Fortunately for me this nice young lady has offered to remove the stain before it ruins my lucky golf shirt."

"Harper , you have become one of my most valued employees this week. First you saved my wedding, now you're rescuing my buddy's favorite golf shirt." Alex praised

" I'm just glad I'm could help Your Majesty." She muttered in a small voice.

" Well you have certainly done that, if it wasn't for your ability to play the pipe organ I would probably still be searching for someone who could. And as a token of my appreciation, I would like to give you a few days off with pay. How does all next week sound? Now of course you can pick any days you choose it's totally up to you." Alex explained

Her eyes widened, and her heart picked up it's pace. " Thank you. Your Majesty,"she gushed " Next week will be great, actually it's perfect , that will give me time to go down to the book store and get my books for the fall semester."

"Harper, what classes are you taking this semester?"Karmen ask politely

" I'm enrolled in the Pre Law program." She answered shyly.

" That's cool , isn't all the Pre Law and law school classes on the same side of the campus as the Pre med and Medical school." Karmen ask

"Yes they are, I love how our University is laid out."

" Me too" Karmen agreed "maybe I will see you around campus, I'm enrolled in the Medical school."

" Maybe, we will be using some common areas." Harper replied politely.

Still kinda weary of the little witch Jackson glanced up at his great grandfather to get his approval. If karmen was going to be in danger at school he had no problem with asking her to quit school. The way he saw things right now, she didn't need to go back to school it wouldn't be long until they have children and she would be busy laying beside the pool and baking cookies anyway.

King Evander nodded in confirmation to Jackson's unasked question , placing his hand affectionately on Harper's lower back.

Upon feeling the light touch of his hand she stiffened and tried to take a step away from him. Her heartbeat quickened which caused Alex to turn his head and cover his mouth with his hand to stifle the laughter that tried to escape his lips.

Before she could flee king Evander snaked his long fingers around her waist to hold her in place. he smiled , "Where shall I met you after I get a shower." As he spoke to Alex her heartbeat thundered in her chest catching Alex's attention even more.

Alex listened closely to the sound her heart made. It relived that she only seem to be a little nervous but not scared, he replied casually " In the dining room. Now if you get there before us there's an intercom over beside the buffet table just push it and Brenda will be happy to make you a drink."

" Thank you Alex, I better go change so my girl here can get back to work." He said, squeezing her side slightly as he turned leading her down the hallway towards his bedroom.

After they stepped inside the bedroom and closed the door Jackson leaned over whispering to Alex " Do you think we're going to get a new great grandmother."

Alex chuckled," I don't know, She's a little nervous thing, I don't know if she could handle finding out everything about him."

"I don't understand can he even get married again, wasn't your great grandmother his mate." Lexi curiously ask

Alex shrugged " I'm not sure how it works with demons, but I do know some old vampires who lost their mate and remarried some girls like Jackson used to date. But I really don't think love had anything to do with it."

Karmen groaned covering her face with both hands " If I die before you please don't marry a bim-bo."

"Your the one who is half demon you could stay young and sexy. And I could be walking around like Mr. Merlin all hunched backed with gray hair and glasses." Jackson teased. Then he pulled his lips over his teeth to make it appear all his teeth were missing ." I'm not even going to wear false teeth, I'll just gum all my food and when I kiss you good night I'll make sure to gum your cheek."

" Just shoot me" karmen howled

, " oh my god Karmen then everyone will think you're the bum-bo" Lexi chuckled pointing her finger at Karmen

Easy Recipe : Buffalo turds

Easy game day food

10 medium jalapeño peppers cut length wise washed seeds removed (use rubber gloves for this and don't touch your eyes.)

8oz block cream cheese room temperature

10 slices thin cut bacon cut in half

20 little smokies (small party sausage)

After removing seeds spread cream cheese inside hollowed out peppers and placed little sausage link on top of cream cheese wrap in bacon cook in 400 degree over for about twenty minutes. Or until bacon is browned.

Note: can be cooked on grill if desired

Helpful clean up tip : line cookie sheet with aluminum foil . ( they can create a mess on the cook sheet.)
