Battle Trial. (Part 1)

{POV Ryuu.}

Bakugou and Mezo stayed until dinner that night as mother cooked an amazing meal before sending them both off back home.

I went to my room after they left and decided to meditate. But the moment I sat on my bed, I heard a knock on my door, then before I could say anything or open my eyes, Mei opened the door as she plopped herself on my bed and groaned out.

"Massage me," then she continued to talk as she laid her head on her arms."You're right, Bakugou is smart. His adaptability in combat is amazing. And Mezo, I was surprised he lasted so long against your strength."

I nodded my head as I also noticed Mei's slightly teasing grin.

I smiled as I stood and grabbed some massage oil, "So? Full body massage, legs, arms, deep tissue." Mei smiled with a teasing grin as she shook her ass slightly.

"You know what I enjoy Ryuu~, I'm soar~." Mei spoke in a slightly husky voice and moaned slightly.

"Then I shall do my best, for your enjoyment," I said slowly as I softly ran my fingers up her soft and mature body. "My beautiful Empress." To which Mei smiled with a dreamy look in her eye.

I gotta say she just melts into butter… and falls asleep every time she asks for that damn type of massage, that or Ancient and his perverted old ass is watching. Rude man, rude.

Still, seeing the happy expression on her tired face is a beautiful sight to see. At least that's a bonus.

It seemed like the whole episode yesterday was just a one time thing. I could even explain how the rest of the day was with a simple word: boring. Yes boring, like any other regular school day, I mean I get it, school is very important for growing minds.

But for Ancients sake, this is a damn hero academy!! Where are the heroics? Why do I hear applause?!

No I wasn't hearing wrong, fuckin All Might decided to come through the door. And by his definition "normal".

"IT'S MEEE!... coming through the door, like a normal person!!!" All Might a great hero yes, a completely normal person, hell no. But everyone else ignored his entrance as they shouted in surprise and wonder.

"I can't believe it!"

"All Might's really gonna be teaching us…!!"

I even overheard others talking about his current hero outfit. "That design's so silver age! That art style clashes so much it's giving me goosebumps…" I'm not gonna lie here… it sucks. Even when I was an Emperor, I made sure to keep up with the latest fashion and style.

All Might spoke as he struck a pose, others were still in shock and awe to see how the number one hero was going to be teaching the class, but I saw that he seemed to be struggling a little.

So at least my suspicion is starting to see daylight.

"Foundational hero studies! For this class, we'll be building up your foundation through various trials," then he spoke in a low manner to which barely anyone heard.

"You'll get tons of credit for it!"

Then he finished his pose as he struck forward with a card that had 'battle' written on it… where the hell did the card come from?

"So, let's jump right in with this!! The trial of battle!!" as to which everyone in the class started to cheer and chant 'the trial of battle'. As All Might walked over to a wall, a feeling of anticipation started to build as I knew what came next.

"And to go with your first battle… we've prepared the gear we had you send in for requests to match your quirks!" All Might said with a smile as the rest of the class started to get really pumped up.

So was I, as Mei had kept my whole costume and equipment hidden from me. And I was very eager to see her work as she hinted at being the only one who worked on the whole thing.

"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone please gather at Grounds B! The garb you bring into the battlefield is vitally important, boys and girls!! And don't forget! From here on out, you're all officially heroes!!" All Might said as he left the classroom to an energetic class.

But I frowned when I heard All Might say that we were all official heroes.

"That's not something a pro hero should say to any kid." I said silently as I shook my head and headed to the case that had my seat number of nineteen. When I got to the changing room and opened the case a smile formed on my face as I stood and enjoyed the design Mei brought to life.

"This is amazing Mei. Alright let's suit up!" I said as I smiled and wore an armor fit for an Emperor. (See Image.)

Seeing everyone after they suited up made for quite a scene, except for a missing green haired kid everyone was ready as we all headed out the same tunnel, making for a dynamic entry.

"All right! Let's see what you're made of, you embryos! It's time for the trial of battle!" All Might said in a loud and excited voice as everyone smiled, stretched, or struck a pose of some kind.

Then it seemed Midoriya finally caught up… and could he not be so obvious. Come on kid.

"Ah! Deku! Cool costume, it looks really practical!" Uraraka spoke as she complimented Deku… ok weird name, when the hell did his name change.

To which I saw Midoriya had become animated in a shocked manner, as Uraraka continued."I wish I'd drawn my request sketch a little better… my costume came out a bit puffy."

For some odd reason again, I felt that someone was supposed to speak up or say something, but I guess not. Maybe I'll run into this so-called person, who knows.

I shook my head as I heard a slight coughing noise that came from All Might as his body seemed to be shaking with laughter or pride, I don't know which but again it's fuckin obvious why. Then Ida spoke up as he raised his hand… I gotta say nice looking armor. It's style looks familiar.

"Sensei! Regarding the performance ground we'll be using, is it the mock-city from the entrance exam!?" To which All Might nodded his head as he continued to explain with that same smile on his face.

"You'll see in fact, take two steps and you'll be there! This will be an indoor battle trial! Villain cleanup is usually seen out in the open, but statistically, the better part of it is an indoor job. Most acts of villainy are done indoors." I noticed he started to cough slightly as he continued.

"Imprisonment, house arrest, the black market… in this hero saturated society why, any villain with intelligence is lurking in the shadows. So for this test, you'll separate into 'Villain' and 'Hero' groups and form a two-on-two team battle!!" All Might finished with a pose as he placed his fists on his hips.

Then I heard a student ask a question, she was wearing a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, gloves with large buckles on each wrist guard with two matching belts. With one pair above her breasts, and a strap at either side going around her shoulders. And around her waist little green dots embedded into them all the way around. She also wore a pair of webbed flippers resembling frogs' toes on her feet. If I recall correctly, her name should be Tsuyu Asui.

All Might answered Tsuyu's question by saying "this is foundational training.". To which everyone spoke up with a multitude of questions, trying to speak up all at once.

I mean Aizawa did set the bar kinda high.

I even heard a student ask if his cape looked killer on him… who the hell asks if a cape looks killer on him. Capes are a no go on the battlefield. I'll never understand why, that just makes for a bigger target. Look at me, I have cape.

All Might seemed to get flustered as he pulled out a piece of paper and just started reading from it aloud in front of everyone. Did this pro hero pull out a piece of paper to teach from.

"If the heroes capture the villains or reach the nuclear core before the time runs out, they win. If the villains manage to keep the core the whole time or capture the heroes, they win." I saw All Might fold the piece of paper then take out a box that said 'lots' on it, surprising a lot of the students.

Then I heard Midoriya start to speak up and explain what All Might was trying to say.

"Well, pros are often forced to make impromptu team-ups with other heroes they might not know well, so this is probably testing that… I think." Huh he's not all that dull I guess I'll give him that.

After the whole explanation was over we all drew lots and were then paired up.

I went up first to pick my lottery, as the rest followed after.

I was paired up with Tsuyu for Team H, as everyone was quickly paired up with their individual partners. I noticed Midoriya seemed to be having a heart attack as he was partnered with Uraraka, while All Might continued to grab boxes from Ancient knows where.

"And the first two pairs to do combat will be the following! Pair A will be Heroes and Pair D will be Villains!" All Might said in a loud and boisterous manner.

Oh, well this'll be interesting to watch, especially since a lot of Bakugou's rage seems to stem from Midoriya currently.

I started to wonder how the fight would happen but I didn't have any high hopes as you can't just conquer your rage in a single day, it takes time. But still, I was more curious with how Midoriya would handle All Might's ability, since he still shattered his finger throwing a ball. I doubt he would use it against his fellow students, but he could still surprise me nonetheless.

"This scenario has the villains inside the building first! Then, after five minutes the heroes will be let in. Also everyone else will be watching what happens also through cameras! This will allow Young Ida and Young Bakugou to get the mindset of a villain! This is a practical exercise, so go all out without fear of injury!" All Might then paused slightly, I thought he was going to cough again, but it seemed it was for dramatic effect.

"Though naturally we'll cut it short if things get out of hand…" All Might continued to talk as Bakugou and Ida headed inside the building, as I felt the tension start to increase as something interesting seemed to be brewing.
