{POV Ryuu.}
We all entered the same building, well it's basement currently as several holographic monitors sprung up showing multiple angles of the whole building we were currently in.
I slowly looked at every single one of the monitors as I committed each location to memory. Everyone seemed to be in shock as they saw the whole set up.
Then everyone seemed to finally notice that there wasn't that much longer till the hero team was allowed entrance to start their operation and capture the others.
All Might said something but I was too focused on looking at the entire layout of the building, making sure I missed nothing. Seems to be a blueprint for a regular type of building a lot of companies and businesses use for their design, this should be pretty easy, hardly a trial.
I removed the helmet so that I could get a better look at the other groups and placed it underneath my arm. Again everyone's outfits or costumes were on point and showcased their inner hero. That and wearing a helmet is normally more beneficial on the battlefield.
I looked back at the screen to where Ida and Bakugou's location was at before, and I noticed that Bakugou seemed to have disappeared and was making a beeline towards Midoriya.
I sighed aloud as I knew Bakugou was still full of himself and still denied Midoriya's existence.
Everyone else seems to be more focused on the hero team as they thought they were more important since that is what they were used to seeing. But I felt Tsuyu was paying more attention to the screens I was watching instead of the heroes.
Midoriya and Uraraka continued on their path as they entered the building, walking down the middle of the path and making full turns down each hall.
Are you serious, that's the most basic of basics, fresh out of the package shit? Hug the corners, check your blind spots, communicate with your partner, hand signals… I sighed aloud again while shaking my head. Calm down Ryuu, they're are just a bunch of damn kids, not fucking soldiers.
"Ribbit, are you okay Ryuu-chan? You seem to be disappointed or frustrated? Are you feeling ok? Ribbit." I heard Tsuyu ask in a concerned manner as I started to smile and turned to look in her direction only to notice she had a vacant stare on her face while her finger was tipped against her mouth.
"I'm fine Tsuyu, just a little disappointed. Let's just say both sides have their faults and good points about them." I said, as I noticed something from the corner of my eye and pointed to the screen showing Bakugou's surprise attack on Midoriya, I was surprised to see that Bakugou destroyed a part of Midoriya's costume in the process of attack. "See, a good strategy just could've been delivered better I think."
I noticed that everyone else was angry and upset about the way Bakugou handled the situation. I was really confused as it made complete sense in my mind as Bakugou is playing the villain currently.
Someone even said that he cheated and I almost coughed up blood as a result of the students' idiocy. Luckily All Might said something to counter the student who spoke up.
But it seemed as if I was going to have a day.
Because when I looked back at the screen, Bakugou telegraphed a big right swing, allowing Midoriya to get under it and throw Bakugou over Midoriya's shoulder to the ground. Then saying something important it seemed.
I really wish I had a damn chair to sit on, but I forced myself to continue watching as I knew something like this was still bound to happen.
"What is he saying? There's no sound through the surveillance footage." The student with the red spiky hair spoke up, if I remember correctly he's called Eijiro Kirishima.
All Might just continued to look at the screen with his patient smile while he explained why we couldn't hear anything.
"Teammates can communicate through wireless transceivers! And they all have a rough sketch of the building, then there's this capture tape! The moment someone's wrapped this around their opponent, that's the sign that they have been captured…"
I didn't really pay attention to the rest of the conversation as everyone else started to ask questions. They should be paying attention to the screens, and be asking questions later, there are more important things happening. And I was right as luckily someone spoke up about the current situation.
I saw Bakugou had decided to go off on Midoriya, it would have worked but I noticed that Midoriya seemed to be one step ahead of Bakugou still. The green haired little bastard must have been watching Bakugou grow all this time, smart if not creepy but smart nonetheless.
I was hoping Midoriya would capitalize as Bakugou was rattled. But the moron decided to run away, all the while making Bakugou angrier and angrier.
I was also getting angry too, but not at Bakugou.
My anger was towards Midoriya, as it seemed he didn't want to use his ability on Bakugou. If anything the least Midoriya could've done was use his ability to attack or at least stand his ground, but no he just ran like a craven.
I just shook my head as I turned my attention back towards Ida as it seemed he started to prepare for Uraraka to arrive.
Call me surprised as Ida was playing the role of a villain rather well, for a stage villain of course.
I noticed that he cleared the whole area of debris so that Uraraka couldn't utilize her ability. Then Ida must have said something as Uraraka gave herself away as she started to laugh.
I had to force myself from slapping my own forehead by Uraraka's own stupidity.
"Getting angry again Ryuu-chan. Ribbit," Tsuyu spoke up again as I just sighed and nodded my head in agreement. "What's wrong? Ribbit."
I just smiled as I just started to speak what was on my mind.
"Well, I guess you can say that some aren't taking this seriously. Sure Ida has done a good job to corner Uraraka as it would be impossible for Uraraka to capture Ida. Bakugou is attacking Midoriya, but he is letting his anger blind him currently. And Midoriya, in my opinion, is currently a craven, as he had the upper hand in the beginning of the fight, but Midoriya never capitalized on it."
Tsuyu just continued to look at me with a vacant stare while her finger was tipped against her mouth as she nodded her head, as she tried to speak her mind.
But it seemed she was cut short, as All Might decided it was the best time to speak in a slightly panicked voice. That's when I noticed on the screen that Bakugou was on, was about to let loose, as a smile started to form on my face.
Then to everyone's shock, amazement, or abject horror. Bakugou released a massive explosion as he pulled the pin on his grende like gauntlets, with a calm yet crazed look on his face.
BOOOOM!!!
Making the entire building shake, even taking out a good chunk of the building along with it!
The whole incident made everyone react differently as Uraraka even tried to take advantage of the whole situation and caught Ida off guard a little, as she used her ability and went for the core.
I just continued to watch the scene unfold as Ida quickly reacted by using his ability and moving the core out of Uraraka's path, to which Uraraka somehow forgot and was surprised as Ida had engines on his damn legs.
Still it was a good try, then I heard Eijiro speak out against what Bakugou did which made me frown.
"All Might-sensei, please put a stop to this! That Bakugou kid's gone mental at this rate, he'll kill him!! Eijiro spoke out in a frustrated and angry tone.
I had to force myself from calling Eijiro out on his bullshit as he was wrong, if Bakugou wanted to kill Midoriya, he would have! I was able to see that much from the training yesterday! Mei pushed Bakugou to his limits multiple times, but never crossed that line… yet.
But luckily All Might spoke up in a slightly proud and eager manner with a slight undertone of worry, which made me a little surprised.
"Bakugou, my boy, if you blast like that, I'll end this exercise forcibly and you will lose. Launching an attack with such an extensive damage radius while indoors defeats the purpose of protecting your stronghold…!" All Might said aloud as he continued to berate Bakugou. I just shook my head as it was wasting time.
Bakugou just groaned out loud as he launched himself towards Midoriya, ready to just duke it out and throw hands.
I almost cried out wanting to berate Bakugou myself, as I saw Midoriya get into a defensive position ready to block.
Then Bakugou showed everyone why he was a genius and where his pride came from. It surprised everyone, even me for a second, then they all made different comments on Bakugou's performance as he just started to annihilate Midoriya.
Some said it was just blatant bullying, saying it's not the behavior of a hero.
I just continued to smile, as one comment I heard spoke perfectly to what we all witnessed and that is Bakugou is a 'monster' when it comes to battle sense. Then my smile froze as I saw what Midoriya was doing and I just shook my head as I spoke aloud.
"Well Bakugou and Ida just lost this battle. I wonder who's up next." Tsuyu seemed surprised when I spoke up and was about to say something, but I just pointed towards the screen. Then I shut my eyes so I could focus and meditate.
Everyone just continued to watch as the battle was coming to an explosive end as both Bakugou and Midoriya were about to clash again.
I heard the other students cry out asking All Might to stop the fight as they thought it had gone on for too long. All Might seemed to try and say something, but then he stopped as the whole scene changed when Midoriya uppercutted, creating a huge hole in the floor giving Uraraka the opportunity to attack Ida and go after the core to capture it.
I happened to open my eyes and look at the screen that showed Bakugou's expression and saw the devastation in them.
I'll make sure to invite him over to blow off some steam, and then let him know what is happening with the copy hero Midoriya. Then as if coming back to his senses All Might yelled out loud with passion and pride in his voice declaring the winner of the first battle trial.
"The Heroes… the hero team… WIINN!!!"
