Peace Before the Coming Storm.

{POV Ryuu.}

I don't remember how many times Mei and I shared our love for one another that night. As we just lost ourselves in it. It was beautiful, amazing… and sometimes crazy.

"You're mine as I am yours, Mei. I love you, my Empress." I said softly into Meis ear, gently embracing her from behind.

"You're mine as I am yours, Ryuu. I love you, my Emperor." Mei softly replied as she snuggled closer.

"My empire would've become a myth without you. Do you know how many times you broke my hand and still do till this day?"

"I don't know I lost count, it's just become such a normal thing it's become habitual." Mei giggled softly. "You should have seen the surprise when the teachers saw the villains floating in the water…"

Then Mei shifted around and rested her head on my chest. Then looked up as she looked me in the eyes. "You need to get stronger, Ryuu. I've seen… All Might. Or what was left of All Might. He looked so weak, and barely hanging on." Mei said with a hint of worry in her voice.

"I know, the number one hero struggled to defeat that nomu, it even injured him. His time is coming to an end, and that villain alliance will try to attack again as there's also a traitor in my class it seems." I smiled as I gently rubbed Mei's back.

Mei just continued to look me in the eye's before she slowly closed her eyes. "Tsuyu also seemed to care a lot about your wellbeing. She's a very nice and caring girl, Ryuu." Mei softly said, which surprised me a little.

"Yes, Tsuyu is quite amazing. But, why are you bringing it up?" I asked while still rubbing Meis back

"I talked with Tsuyu the entire time you were in meditation, while she was embracing you from behind," Mei said without looking up, but there was a small smile on her face. "She cares a lot about you Ryuu, and more than just a friend."

"Mei," I was only able to softly say her name before Mei opened her green-yellow eyes and stared at me with love and warmth.

"I love you Ryuu, but I also know that it'd be impossible to keep you for myself. Tsuyu was the only person besides myself that was able to approach you while your ability was having a backlash." Mei gently raised her body before placing a soft and loving kiss on my lips before laying back down on my chest.

"I love you Mei," I said softly as I was a little stunned. "I know this is beyond selfish, and I'm beyond blessed to have someone like you in my life. I don't even know where I'd be without you Mei." I smiled as I kissed the top of Meis head.

Mei just smiled as she made herself more comfortable on my chest and started to fall asleep.

But just as I closed my eyes and was about to join Mei and fall asleep. I heard a knock on my door as I started to sweat!

My mother opened the door without waiting for a response and peaked her head inside. She didn't even say anything, as she just smiled a motherly smile, closed the door, and left.

I just shook my head before sleep overtook me and passed out while embracing Mei.

I awoke a few hours later as Mei was still silently asleep on my chest.

I smiled before softly kissing her on top of her head, gently got out of the bed, and went to shower to clean myself. Luckily we were given a day off because of the incident allowing all of the students to have a breather.

Mei was still asleep after I showered, as I just smiled before quietly leaving my room and headed to the kitchen to make something to eat for the both of us.

But when I entered the kitchen I saw my mother enjoying a cup of coffee with a proud motherly smile on her face.

"Good morning Ryuu, did you enjoy your night?" Mother said as she took a small sip of her coffee without breaking eye contact. As I just stood like a deer staring down a semi truck.

"Go-good morning mother, yes it was a good night." I said with a straight face while sweat started to drop.

"Well that's good to hear dear, just make sure you don't overexert yourself." Mother said as she finished her coffee, stood up, and left.

But before she left she gave me a motherly hug with the biggest smile and love in her eyes.

"Just don't break her heart Ryuu, cause if you do…" mother said mysteriously before she left with a slight hop in her step.

I just continued to stand in the kitchen for a few seconds before I shook my head and started to laugh. "Mother's can be beyond scary at times, but I wouldn't change it for the world."

I started to make an amazing brunch, with waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and fresh squeezed orange juice.

I just finished plating the last dish when I heard Mei groggily step into the kitchen wearing one of my shirts and a pair of panties with her hair down.

Mei just plopped herself in front of one of the plates as she started to smile and look at me with a loving smile. "It smells amazing Ryuu, and looks amazing as well. I swear you could easily conquer anyone with just your cooking if you really wanted to."

I just smiled when I heard Mei's compliment before telling her about how Mother saw us together, which made Mei spit out her orange juice.

"She, she saw us!?" Mei said with surprise then started to blush as she looked at me intently. "Wha-what did she say?"

"Well for one, she was happy. And I mean beyond happy, she even said not to overexert myself." I answered with a smile on my face as Mei just started to laugh as she gave me a teasing smile.

"I wonder what her expression would be when she finds out she'll be having more than one daughter-in-law?" Mei said, which made us both laugh, until she saw me stop mid laugh and turned around to see my Mother standing in the doorway with the biggest smile on her face.

"Like I said earlier dear, just make sure you don't overexert yourself. I always wanted to have a huge family." Mother said with joy as she turned around… and started to skip down the hall while humming to herself.

Mei and I stared at each other before we just started to laugh happily, as we finished brunch. While we discussed ways for us to get stronger and prepare ourselves when shit started to hit the fan.

"So, we have a day off today. Wanna go shopping or just hang out today." I asked Mei with a smile as she did the same.

"Let's go shopping today, I need to buy some new lingerie and materials to upgrade your armor." Mei said with a mysterious smile on her face.

I raised my brow while smiling as I leaned in close and sealed Mei's lips with mine. "Sounds amazing, I can't wait to see what you pick out."

To which Mei smiled happily as she started to leave the kitchen with a skip in her step. I just continued to watch with a happy smile on my face as I started to clean the kitchen and prepared for our date.

I forgot how much women loved to shop.

Mei continued to drag me to multiple different stores throughout our date, but I didn't mind as I got to watch Mei smile, laugh, tease, and have fun throughout the whole date.

We almost got caught at a lingerie store when Mei decided to try out a pair of black lace lingerie with a matching garter belt, which made my brain freeze. Luckily the salesperson didn't notice.

"I can't believe we almost got caught," Mei laughed as we neared home. "That and the look on your face when you saw my last outfit was priceless."

I just shook my head and smiled as I carried dozens of heavy bags. "Your beauty blew me away, I was barely able to control myself when I saw you. And besides you knew I would react that way, I mean you almost tore the curtain open when you revealed yourself."

Mei just laughed as we entered the house. Mother even called out from the kitchen when she heard us return, saying that dinner was almost ready. As we just yelled back saying ok.

I dropped off all of Meis new items in my room as she said that she was going to be sleeping in there from now on. While we both quickly washed ourselves and made our way to the dining room to have dinner.

Mother again went all out, which surprised father as he had no idea why, until something clicked in his head and gave me a proud look then smiled a fatherly smile. Which made mother start to giggle as she knew more than he did. Which again made father a little confused.

It was an amazing dinner with all of us together as the peace and serenity of the situation was something I truly cherished.

But.

I had an odd feeling that things were going to become quite chaotic soon since All Might and everything seemed to be pointing towards the fall of hero society or something I was very familiar with.
