Sports Festival. (Part 6)

{POV Ryuu.}

"Sorry to keep you waiting folks!! Next up are these two. Tsuyu Asui versus Todoroki Shouto!!"

The crowd erupted into applause as both Shoto and Tsuyu walked onto the stage. I even joined them as I couldn't wait to see how Tsuyu would handle Shoto.

But when Shoto continued to advance onto the stage I noticed the amount of rage and killing intent had increased to a dangerous level. I immediately stood to my feet as I tried to warn Tsuyu, but the moment the words escaped my mouth Present Mic loudly announced the start of the match.

Tsuyu immediately attacked as she used her tongue to wrap Shoto before quickly tossing him outside of the arena.

"A lightning quick attack aiming for a ring-out! One of the best choices she could have made against an opponent like Shoto!" Present Mic announced before his enthusiasm started to dim as a cold started to spread through one half of the stadium.

"TSUYU DODGE NOW!!!" I screamed as I saw the look of madness in Shoto's eyes as he stared directly into Tsuyus as he was being tossed.

Tsuyu immediately reacted with a quick response but wasn't able to completely dodge the giant iceberg that Shoto created in the stadium as she was caught and couldn't move. Quickly ending the match.

I almost jumped into the arena as rage, wrath, and concern started to take over. But I was quickly stopped by Bakugou, Eijiro, and Mezo. Cracks started to form as I was still trying to rush onto the stage as they continued to try and hold me back.

I even saw Mei rush onto the stage as she started to help remove Tsuyu with a look of concern and fury on her face.

Everyone was stunned silent by Shoto's display of power before small amounts of murmurs of 'it's okay' started to spread across the entire stadium. Shoto even tried to help by melting the ice with an almost sad look on his face. But was stopped by Mei with a fierce look in her eyes that made Shoto flinch.

I started to calm down a little when I noticed that Tsuyu wasn't really harmed.

"Thank you guys. I started to lose it a little and I'm sorry if I injured any of you when you stopped me." I said with a heavy look on my face as I smiled looking towards my friends directions.

"It's alright Ryuu." Mezo said with a sigh. "You were concerned for Tsuyu."

Eijiro nodded his head as he agreed with Mezo. "Yeah and besides Shoto definitely went over the top with that move. So unmanly."

I just nodded my head as I agreed with Eijiro on Shoto being unmanly. I gotta say Eijiro has started to rub off on me a little.

Then I felt a firm hand clasp onto my shoulder as I looked towards Bakugou.

"Are you ok though, Ryuu." Bakugou asked as he looked into my eyes as he spoke with a familiar tone.

"Yeah, I am." I said with a small smile, "but I don't know about Shoto if I end up fighting him." I was being truthful as the rage I felt was still there, lingering.

Present Mic quickly announced the next match, but before he could get any word in it was over in a flash as Denki was easily beaten by his opponent.

But when the next match came I was dying of laughter for a full ten minutes, as Mei played with Ida the entire time as she showed off her super cute babies to the crowd while explaining everything they did. The look on Idas face was priceless as he was still completely naive towards the world around him.

My match was next as I started to head down while wiping tears off my face as I started to head down to begin my match. I even ran into Mei as it seemed she was waiting.

"Ah Aoyama, such an unlucky matchup for him. Oh well, let's just get this over with." I said with a light smile.

"And your match was the best Mei. I couldn't stop myself from laughing the entire time."

Mei smiled as we hugged each other. "True. It was the easiest way to promote my babies to the major companies. And make sure you check on Tsuyu after you're finished with your match."

I smiled as I kissed the top of Mei's head. "I can do that. But first I need to quickly defeat Aoyama."

Mei just giggled before giving me a quick squeeze as she ran off with a smile.

"Alright folks!! It's time for the next round in this tournament. Yamamoto Ryuu versus Yuga Aoyama!! Come on down and let's do this!!!" Present Mic yelled out bringing the crowd to a frenzy.

I started to ignore the crowd as my attention was drawn towards Aoyama as he stood there with a proud smile on his face and posed. I just stood with a neutral look on my face as I waited for Mic to start the match.

The moment Present Mic said start, Aoyama quickly fired a laser from his stomach thanks to the belt he wore as I easily avoided it. But when Aoyama fired I was able to notice his face flinch in pain before it returned to normal which made me a little curious.

I didn't even use my ability as I used just my physical strength. I quickly arrived in front of Aoyama, tore off his belt, iron gripped his face, and asked for his surrender. Which he happily agreed to.

I didn't wait for the announcement as I headed toward where Tsuyu was. Tsuyu seemed to be extremely happy when I arrived as she started to smile as we headed back to the stands.

I didn't even need to pay attention to the next fights as I was talking with Tsuyu while making sure she was ok. I figured who was going to win and I was right.

Fumikage easily defeated Momo, while Eijiro was in a slug fest with Tetsutetsu, but was able to still win in the end.

But as Tsuyu and I were making our way towards the stand we ran into Bakugou as his match was up next.

"Don't go easy on Uraraka out there. She's a fighter." I said with a smile as I gave Bakugou a high five.

"Still good luck out there man."

Bakugou started to laugh as he nodded his head before he started to head down to the arena.

"How do you think the match is going to go, ribbit? Do you think Bakugou will go easy on Uraraka?" Tsuyu asked with curiosity in her voice as we made it back to the stands as Present Mic announced the start of the match.

"Let's just say I have a feeling the crowd won't like how it will go down." I said with a small chuckle the moment I spoke as Uraraka charged in to attack Bakugou as he released an explosion right in front of her.

"See what I mean."

Tsuyu just nodded her head as we both continued to watch the fight as Uraraka never gave up on her assault on Bakugou. Tsuyu and Mei even cheered Uraraka on since no one else did.

I was really impressed with how Uraraka never gave up nor surrendered as she continued to try and touch Bakugou with her ability. But Bakugou never allowed her to get close as he kept his guard up as he relentlessly continued his assault of explosions.

I even started to notice that the crowd was getting rather heated as many couldn't accept Bakugous attitude towards Uraraka. They even went as far as to heckle the moderator.

Then one of the "Heros" had decided to speak up as they seemed fed up with Bakugous conduct. Saying how dare he toy with a girl like that, making the entire stadium start to boo Bakugou.

I almost yelled out wanting to shut the so-called hero up, but before I was able to, Aizawa harshly rebuked the hero.

I immediately started to smile before bursting out with laughter as Aizawa made the hero look like a fool.

"He clearly recognizes the strength of his opponent who's reached this far and has his guard up as a result. It's because he is doing everything in his power to win that he doesn't stay, his hand."

The crowd immediately went silent after Aizawa's speech.

"This is a good fight. Especially for Uraraka, the fire in her eyes never went out even though she knew she was going against a stronger opponent." I said with a smile on my face.

"But all good things must come to an end."

I noticed Uraraka started to smile as she slowly touched the tips of her fingers together as she yelled out 'I win' as a meteor shower of rubble started to fall from the sky.

Bakugou was surprised when he looked up as he saw the shower of rubble started to fall. He even looked back towards Uraraka with awe before he blasted Uraraka's final attack away.

I noticed the look in Bakugou's eyes when he saw that Uraraka still made the decision to keep fighting even after her big attack. But before Uraraka could take another step forward she started to fall, but as she collapsed Bakugou caught her with a smile on his face.

I started to clap as everyone around me did the same as they were impressed by the fight. I even saw Bakugou carry Uraraka off of the stage as he seemed to be taking her to the recovery room.

"... All right, now that I've collected myself the first round of the tournament is over. And will be starting the next round of matches so the next two contestants please head to the stage.." Present Mic announced with very little joy in his voice.

Ah the next match should be an interesting one to watch as hero boy Deku will be up against Shoto. I wonder how things will turn out for the both of them.
