love-hate

The next day, Alora went to school after taking care of the cafe.

Alora, Maya, and Sarah sat on the same bench and started chatting as usual.

The class captain glared at them but couldn't say anything as the teacher hasn't arrived yet so them chatting around isn't a big deal.

Fifteen minutes later the teacher arrived.

She saw that Alora, Maya, and Sarah were sitting together but unlike before, she didn't say anything.

It shocked the three girls along with the whole class as it was a first.

The class teacher would always separate Alora, Maya, and Sarah from each other as they just chat throughout the whole class instead of concentrating.

The class captain looked like someone dropped a bomb on her head and ran away with her million dollars treasure.

"Ma'am, are you ok?"Alora couldn't stop herself from asking.

"Ma'am, did something bad happen?" Maya joined.

The class teacher looked at them with adoration in her eyes.

These girls trouble her a lot but still, she knew that they meant no harm.

"Ma'am, did you fight with your husband?"Sarah's question earned everyone's attention and the ma'am looked at her she has grown two heads.

"Honey, I am pure single. Where would my husband come from?" the class teacher laughed.

"I read a book last night where a mafia forcefully married the female lead and it only took a few minutes. You were out of our sight for two days!" Sarah's eyes widened.

Everyone started laughing at her weird imagination including the class teacher but she suddenly stopped laughing and a strict look took over her face.

"Now that you mentioned, you three missed school yesterday and a teacher happened to see you guys at the entrance, getting wet in the rain," she said glaring at the three girls.

"Well ma'am, it was Alora's birthday yesterday. We wanted to celebrate it," Maya said and the teacher gave them an understanding nod.

The class captain looked like someone stole her golden swan for not being able to get these three punished for missing school.

When the teacher wasn't looking, Sarah stuck her tongue out at the class captain.

"You guys are probably thinking about why I am not separating these three, right?" the class teacher said taking a paper out of her bag.

The students nodded.

"Well, cause it's their last class together-" the class captain cut her down in the middle.

"Ma'am, I know that they are irritating and they annoy everyone including you and me but getting them kicked out of our school is too extreme. After a lot of trying, I found my perfect match enemies."

She looked ready to beg the teacher.

"Although you are a bitch, I still love you," Sarah said dramatically wiping off her fake tears.

"Even though there have been a lot of times when I wanted to pull out all of your hair but I gotta admit, you are the perfect loyal enemy," Maya said.

"You are the only enemy I am satisfied with. You know when to start the fight. You play fair. Not a dirty player," Alora said wiping off her tears dramatically.

The whole class started pleading not to kick them out of the school.

"Ma'am you can kick them out of the class but not school," a guy jumped in the middle.

The whole class started chanting Yes.

The class teacher signed them to slow down.

"I love how united you guys are! Your love-hate relationship almost bought tears to my eyes but I am not kicking them out. What I meant as their last class together meant, last class before winter breaks as your winter break is going to start from tomorrow," the class teacher laughed.

Everyone looked like they have been cheated on.

Alora, Maya, and Sarah stand up together and together said," We are glad to have your love. Don't worry we won't leave you guys ever. You guys are the legal owner of our irritating acts. We will annoy you guy's until all of you end up booking a room in a mental asylum."

They winked at the end and the whole class cringed together.

Later they started laughing together.

Under the perfect facade of happiness, Maya's heart was breaking.

Even though, Chris broke her heart, she wanted him to come and apologize to her. She wanted all of these to be a nightmare and nothing more.

She hoped that the next moment Chris will wake her up from her nightmares and hug her saying," I am here. No one can hurt you with my presence around."

But her wish never came true. He did crush her heart like the merciless guy that he was.

Maybe her baby was bound to be fatherless. This thought scared her to the end.

They got a one-week vacation but with a lot of homework as it's their last year.

The girls decided to cover up the syllabus they didn't understand.

They started doing their homework right after reaching home and freshening up.

"I will finish the entire syllabus tonight and will do the homework tomorrow. This time I will top," Sarah encouraged herself.

"Keep working hard and smart. Maybe you will," Alora encouraged her.

"Enough with studying, I am hungry. It's been years since I last had food," Maya dramatically said.

"Honey, you had two sandwiches right after freshening up with a whole bottle of apple juice and this happened like thirty minutes ago," Sarah sarcastically said.

"Shut up, Sarah. What do you want to eat, Maya? I will give you that," Alora said getting up.

"Guys now that I noticed, I have been eating a lot since the last few days," Maya said looking blank.

"It's ok to eat this much. You had your breakfast early in the morning and it's already 7 pm. If we calculate correctly, you only had one subway with lemonade for the lunch and later these sandwiches. You are eating for two people so it's normal," Alora said.

"But I am worried about something else. Oh my god," saying this Maya started crying.
