A SWIFT CHANGE.
Change will always come your way
This was the very answer
One that I received always
For I always had to ask
Yet the answers left me in silence
Asking myself both day and night
Was change a being like me
Did he also have legs to walk
For they say he will come by himself
Yet how will he see me then
Has he got eyes just like me
Or say arms that he can touch
For I need to have a walk
Yet still refrained in such a place.
Thinking to myself in silence
I decided to go look him out there
For we might meet on the way
Reducing my time of waiting
Riding my black flafy horse
I set off very early in the morning
For I was in great fear the whole night
Yet my heart yearned to meet change
Happy that I was this free
Riding only to myself
Without one for company
For only black was my only one
And he also had only me around
Racing at high speed was black
Jumping high over blocks
Or be it the said traps
Wondering his knowledge the more
For he knew the world far
Better than the lonely me.
Black looked tired now
For it was days and nights
That I had no knowledge anymore
Over the flow of time
For the sun rose and set
The moon followed up closely
Yet it also went like that
Crossing lakes and rivers
And various deep forests
That I was in turn lost
For green was my eye sight
Be it day or night
For I had to live that way
Time to time I searched
But it was all to no vail
With dry lips l walked
Yet never at ounce caught sight
Of a clear city for shelter.
Was this the real change
But change could walk
For I had to wait for him
All day in the locked city grounds
A top great heights I sat
Not to miss his arrival
Yet this left me in agony
For I was tired of waiting
Yet even upto this far
Change still looks far
Far away from my kingdom
Yet dad does believe he will come
Has he ever visited him
For he is over confident
In someone as proud as him
At first I thought it's madam Molly
That befriended change most
For she brimmed with smiles
The moment change was mentioned.
Walking all the world way
With a tinge of tiredness
Beards all over my chin
A thing I held not before
Getting used to the forests
The flow of lakes and rivers
And the greenary sight before me
That I was never used to
Learning to make wild fire
More like the early men
Mentioned in the library early world books
Thank god I did read them
For what would I do in a vast forest
Talk of the empty stomach
Thanks to my hunting games
For I got the knowledge to hunt
Enjoying rosted meat all day
And enjoying a fish catch
A new skill in my whole life
One that I never at ounce
Thought that I will learn
Swimming in the lake waters
I heard a massive race
It must be vast for sure
And the horses are all trained
And gallop in unison
Arriving in no time at sight
Your highness, they called
For how long haven I been away
For I lost my way back
And waited for some time here
Yet change has failed to show up.
