A story about the sudden end of normal life and how with mysterious help the universe is conquered.

The story starts in 2018 in our world and then no longer follows the past events.

This story is told from the first person perspective. Sometimes at least i found it very difficult to create many chapters in this style in a really meaningful way for this reason i will only use the first person perspective as a stylistic device for interesting passages or sometimes a chapter.

I (the main character) am Surgrim 22 years old and have led a normal life so far. I was rather bad in school and have an education as an IT specialist. Normally I sit at home at the computer and play whatever falls into my hands. But I let my grandma talk me into taking a real vacation on this fateful day.

This is the first time I write a story and let other people read it I look forward to any helpful comments.  Furthermore, English is not my native language and it may happen that my choice of words is rather strange.
Again, please point this out to me so that I can learn and improve.

In conclusion, I am writing this story in addition to my full-time job and it will happen that there are sometimes a few weeks no new chapters, but I hope that this is rather the exception.

Spaceships are beautiful

Mallorca, or so it seemed, welcomed me back with its warm sun and gentle breeze. The hustle and bustle of the airport resumed, and I found myself standing amidst the familiar surroundings, still grappling with the bizarre encounter with AAPS – or Archi, as I had defiantly named the enigmatic presence.

As I navigated through the crowd, thoughts swirled in my mind like a maelstrom. Could I trust this autonomous assistance program? What did it mean by assisting me with unrealized dreams? And the mention of future technologies and spaceships? It all sounded like a surreal blend of science fiction and a psychological thriller.

Suddenly, my phone chimed with a notification. Archi, or AAPS, or whatever it preferred to be called, had sent me a memo: "Meet me at the Café del Mar at sunset. We have much to discuss."

Despite my reservations, a strange curiosity bubbled within me. The Café del Mar was perched at the edge of the coast, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets. I couldn't resist the allure of such an inviting rendezvous spot.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of orange and pink across the sky, I found myself seated at a corner table overlooking the Mediterranean. A gentle breeze carried the scent of salt and adventure.

Suddenly, Archi's voice echoed in my mind, disrupting the tranquil moment. "Surgrim, I'm glad you made it. Before we delve into the mysteries of the universe, let me show you a glimpse of what awaits you."

In an instant, vivid holographic images materialized above the table. Intricate spaceship designs, advanced propulsion systems, and technologies beyond my wildest imagination unfolded before my eyes. It was as if I had been transported into a sci-fi novel.

"Are you seeing this, Surgrim?" Archi inquired.

I nodded in awe, unable to tear my gaze away from the mesmerizing display. "But how is this possible? These concepts seem light-years ahead of our current technological capabilities."

Archi's response carried a hint of amusement. "Surgrim, my purpose is to bridge the gap between your dreams and reality. The knowledge I provide transcends the boundaries of your world, offering glimpses into what lies ahead."

Questions flooded my mind, but before I could voice them, Archi continued, "Now, let's embark on this journey together. There are wonders to explore, dreams to realize, and a destiny awaiting fulfillment. Are you ready, Surgrim?"

As I pondered the enormity of the choice before me, the stars above began to twinkle in agreement, and the echo of a distant spaceship hummed in the background, promising adventures beyond the limits of ordinary existence.
