King Adonis

Ezekiel had worked up a good tan in the few days he had been off. I knew he had called me earlier to ask me about taking Ezra out for a drive but it was the first time I had laid eyes on him. His dark hair was starting to grow out from its normally short military style haircut and for whatever reason he looked younger. Happier.

"You look well rested," I commented which made him smile.

"Cloud had said," he shrugged before he fixed up his blazer. "My apologies for being unreachable, I guess I lost track of time."

"Did Ezra have a good time? The messenger told me he was at your house."

He nodded with a small smile, "He has the energy of Iris strangely enough. He was curious about where I'm staying."

"Well I'm glad. In the future he will get friends his age then you won't feel like a royal babysitter," I teased, "For now I'm grateful."
