#Chapter 66

WHEN Lorelei got home, her father was waiting for her in the living room. It was immediately obvious to her that he was thinking deeply and she was sure it was the hospital again.

"Hello, dad, good morning," she greeted her father with a kiss on his cheek.

"Are you tired, daughter?" He asked with a worried face. "Are you sleep deprived?"

"I'm fine, daddy." She smiled at her father. "Wake up in the morning." It was just five in the morning.

"I woke up really early to catch you up. I know you will sleep until this afternoon," he said. "I want to talk to you about Mr. Harrison Marlowe's proposal."

She took a deep breath. "Oh. It's okay." She sat on the single sofa. "Let's talk in the living room."

Her father sat on the sofa facing her. "Daughter, Mr. Marlowe is going to invest fifty million in our company so we can get out from our loss."

She raised her eyebrows. "Do you agree?"

"No."
