Dylan sighed deeply. "Fine. Keep your attitude. Just pretend. That's okay with me."

 

She grinned. "Okay. Cool."

 

Dylan rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. "Good. Now, let's talk."

"Talk?" She frowned at him. "What are we going to talk about?"

 

Dylan gave her an arched look. "We'll talk about our differences and all that. Mommy can't get us caught together. Everything will get messy. And I don't want that to happen. My plans will be ruined."

 

Kirsty crossed her arms over her breasts and raised her eyebrows at Dylan. "Before we talk, please enlighten me. Why do I have to pretend to be your fiancée? And what plan are you talking about?"

 

Dylan's lips thinned. He didn't seem to want to tell a story. Hmm! As if he would let her not speak.

 

"Talk, Dylan," she said in a serious voice. "Or you will face your mother without a fiancée by your side."
