Last Words

In a sprawling, dimly lit parking lot on the outskirts of the city, Asmo and Maria materialized, their breaths visible in the cold night air. As they cautiously surveyed their surroundings, a sense of urgency hung in the air, mingling with the tension that crackled between them. The distant hum of traffic served as a stark contrast to the eerie stillness that enveloped the desolate lot.

Asmo, his senses on high alert, sought to ensure that his brothers and their relentless minions had not followed them. His attempt to utilize his "Smoke Trail Style" teleportation had yielded unexpected results, leaving him with a profound surge of power that seemed to elevate him beyond imagination. Maria, ever watchful and apprehensive, stood by his side, her eyes reflecting a mixture of concern and defiance.

Realizing that his ploy might buy them some time from his relentless siblings, Asmo sought out a car to commandeer. Despite Maria's objections, he revealed the true nature of the parking lot – it belonged to Satan himself. Asmo figured that it was unlikely Satan would come looking for them in his own domain. Once Maria understood they were stealing from the one described as a liar and a thief in biblical texts, she reluctantly allowed Asmo to proceed with his dubious plan.

After selecting the perfect car, Asmo ushered Maria inside. However, before driving off, he couldn't resist sabotaging the other vehicles in the lot as a final affront to Satan. With a simple act of concentration, every car's windows shattered, and their tires went flat. Asmo reveled in his newfound power, yet he couldn't shake the feeling that Maria's well-being had been compromised.

As they prepared to depart, Asmo turned to the car, only to find Belphegor seated behind Maria. Unaware of the menacing entity in the vehicle, Maria rested peacefully. As Asmo readied a spell or curse to thwart his treacherous brother's advances, a hand emerged from behind, forcibly inserting a grenade into his mouth, its holder gripping the ring that could detonate the explosive. The voice behind the hand taunted, "If you loved this mortal so much, then you should have put a ring on it."

To Asmo's shock, it was none other than the devil himself.

As Asmo and Maria found themselves surrounded, he could feel the presence of his brothers materializing one by one. The shock of their unexpected appearance made him cease his attempts to guess how they had tracked them down, especially when he laid eyes on Mammon among the group.

Mammon, his closest brother, confidant, and trusted ally, had betrayed him. Mammon, the only one privy to Asmo's backup plan, had now turned against him. Asmo grappled with the question of why Mammon would backstab him, only to receive his answer when Mammon communicated telepathically, blurting out his reason, "Asmo, stop resisting. We have to talk. This woman, this situation, and how everything has played out is the doing of our Father, the Almighty."

Though Asmo was indifferent to being manipulated like puppets by their Father, Mammon couldn't expect him to stand by and allow them to harm Maria. Asmo was determined to break free from Satan's hold and extricate Belphegor from the car as soon as possible.

Satan seemed to discern Asmo's intentions and preemptively cautioned him, "Wow! Calm down, Asmo. Don't do anything hasty. One twitch and you could kiss your lovely mortal goodbye. I will pull the ring off the grenade faster than you can make a move. So, what shall it be? A surrender and a chance to hear her say her last words to you, or will you show stubborn resistance and risk everything going up in flames."

Asmo knew things would get to this point

He and Maria's emotions were messed up from the first time they materialized.

Recollecting how they felt.....

As Asmo's gaze swept across the lot, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being hunted, the weight of his responsibilities pressing heavily upon him. Maria, her features etched with worry and a touch of defiance, remained steadfast by his side, her presence a source of both solace and concern for him.

As they navigated the murky, labyrinthine rows of parked cars, Asmo's mind raced with the gravity of their situation. The knowledge that this parking lot was a domain claimed by Satan himself only added to the gravity of their predicament. The tension between them crackled as Asmo attempted to convey the gravity of their circumstances to Maria, her reluctance palpable, yet her trust in him unwavering.

In the midst of the desolate lot, Asmo's emotions churned within him, torn between the need to protect Maria and the unrelenting burden of his newfound power. The air hung heavy with uncertainty, a palpable sense of foreboding casting a shadow over their every move.

As they prepared to depart, the atmosphere grew taut with apprehension, each passing moment fraught with the unspoken weight of their perilous predicament. As Asmo's eyes locked onto the car, the sudden appearance of Belphegor behind Maria sent a jolt of fear coursing through him. His desperation to shield Maria from harm surged within him, intertwining with the tumultuous emotions that gripped him.

Satan's unexpected arrival shattered the fragile equilibrium, plunging them into a maelstrom of fear and uncertainty. As the devil's taunting voice reverberated through the air, Asmo's heart pounded in his chest, a tumult of emotions warring within him. The physical world seemed to blur as the emotional turmoil within him threatened to overwhelm his senses.

Amidst the palpable tension, Asmo's resolve wavered, torn between the fear of losing Maria and the need to defy the malevolent forces closing in around them. The weight of his emotions, entwined with the gravity of their perilous circumstances, bore down upon him, casting a shadow over their harrowing encounter.
