"Hello sir ! "Jodi said at her end of the phone .



*Detective Sta.Maria , how's the mission going ?

Do you have any information about the Yap's ?*Detective Ian Coony asked at his end .



"No sir ! "Jodi said disappointingly at her end in a dull voice .

"But don't worry sir ,I will bring Richard Yap to you in thirty days !

That is my mission and I will complete it with no emotions.

Right now , I'm getting him to trust me and once that's done ,he will fall in my trap !"

*Detective ,I need to start seeing results of our mission and then I will be rest assured that you can handle this mission .

Don't disappoint me detective Jodi Sta.Maria !*



"I will do nothing as such sir ! Permission to call off the call ,sir !"



*Permission granted detective !*



"I have only twenty-nine days more to turn in that criminal to the authorities .

Once I complete this mission ,I will become a senior detective from being an underground detective .

Also the crime rate of this city will reduce !

If you complete this mission ,it will be equal to getting justice for your parents who were brutally murdered in cold blood !

You can't lose guard Jodi ,your target this time around is none other than Richard Yap .

"Okay ,done here ! It's time to take the first step of my mission ."Judi drove off to have her breakfast at Richard's favourite breakfast joint .

"Hmph ! Thank goodness he's not here yet !

At least I know that I can execute my plan easily now ."Judi walked confidently in her red velvet dress to her booked seat .

Ordering a plate of drop biscuits and sausage gravy ,she rested her hands on her chin .

Wearing a dull face ,she playfully poked the fork into the food continuously .

"Who takes out a bad morning on drop biscuits and sausage gravy ,huh ?"Judi lifted up her head to see Richard sitting in front of her .

“You ?! Don't you get tired of stalking me ?! ”Judi asked .



"I'm not stalking you ! Honestly ,it does appear that I find you at every one of my favourite places .

Don't you think destiny is trying to put us together ?!"Richard asked with a wild smile across his face .

“Ha! Don't tell me you believe in destiny crap !

Well ,I don't !

Excuse me !”Judi began to walk away .Once she drove over to a park ,she took a seat on one of the leisure benches and enjoyed the cool refreshing air of the place .

While the children had fun with their parents ,she recalled her childhood which made her break into deep tears .

“Hey ! Have it ”Richard handed her a handkerchief which she gladly took and wiped off her tears .

"Thanks but you shouldn't have bothered !"She smirked when Richard took a seat by her .

“Do you want some ice creams ? I can get some for you if you want to .”Richard said genuinely .

"No but no thanks ! I don't like feeling indebted to anyone !"Judi sniffed and passed her hand in her asymmetrical corkscrew hair .

“I have noticed that you are a very principled lady ; something that I hardly see most women do !

My mum was also principled but the irony was that her principles were sarcastic !

Even at age eight ,she wanted to bathe for me and do you know she'd say ; it's the duty of every mother to bathe for her child .

And even at age eight , you're still my little baby that I carried in my womb for nine months ,haha !”Judi instantly giggled after Richard finished his sentence .

“Finally ! She smiled ! I made her smile ..oh!ohhh!

By the way ,you look gorgeous when you smile ! ”Richard said, tugging Judi's hair behind her ears .

“Hmph !

Now ,do you want to share your pain with me ?”Richard asked .



"Hmmm! 

You know what ,Richie ? Umm! Is it okay to call you that because Richard seems a little boring in my eyes .

Sorry though , I'm used to speaking my mind !"Judi added, turning away her gaze .

“Ha! Do you think I have a problem with what you call me ?

Of course not !

You can call me Richie or Rich like my friends call me .

You can also call me dumbbell Yap like some people called me too .

Hmph !”Richard sighed .

"Which people used to call you that ? Care to tell me ?;that is ,if you really want to ! "Judi drew closer to Richard and kept her hands on his thighs .

"I ran away from home ! "Judi whispered into his ears and began to walk away .

Richard quickly ran after her .

"Judi, wait ! Judi ! I said wait ! "Richard grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her into his arms .

"Why did you leave home ?I want to treat you for dinner tonight at my favourite dinner restaurant .

I won't take no for an answer ! "Richard whispered into Judi's ears .

“I'd come ! Not because you aren't taking no for an answer but because I want to repay you for lending me your handkerchief to wipe off my tears .

See you in the evening ..!”Judi got into her car and sped off .

"Ding ding !"Her phone rang continuously .

"Hello sir ! "

"Sir ! Everything is going on as planned .

Right now , I'm beginning to gain the trust of Richard Yap and after tonight ,he will totally be in our clutches !"
