It isn't such a big deal

Eric unlocked the door to her home and went straight to her room, placed her on the bed and she rolled over and lay the way she wanted to.

Why did she fall asleep like she was drunk? Is she that tired? Eric stared at her for a while and noticed she tied her hair, he likes her hair down so he pulled off the rubber band from her hair. It was so soft and to his surprise some of her hair fell off like it loosened from her scalp. He sighed and placed his hand on her head and caressed it before looking around for a piece of paper, he found one and wrote something on it and turned off the lights before leaving her home. He started his car and drove off.

The next two days went by, that Sunday just went by like every other day to Lucy but to Eric, it wasn't. He wanted to see her again and be someone she can lean on just like she did in the bus the other day. He needed to see her. He was in deep thought about Lucy in his wide office with a pen in his hand, he had been waiting for her call but she never did call him. She must have seen the note he dropped for her before leaving, maybe she doesn't need him or just doesn't care. He ordered for a cup of coffee and when it arrived, he took sips as he continued with his work.

Evening came, Eric invited Michael to come along with him to Daniel's house. The man agreed but didn't arrive the same time as Eric. He came earlier to see if the Lucy, Daniel was talk about was the Lucy he knew.

7:30pm, his car parked somewhere in Daniel's estate and with pride he walked slowly into his friend's house when he bumped into the only girl he knew that had her hair dyed.

Lucy cooked dinner for her boss and remembered Eric's note.

'You fell asleep on the way home so I dropped you home, have a good night sleep and call me when you need me. Really want to see you again Lucy. Take care of yourself.

Love Eric'

It's evening already and already two days she hasn't called him. She felt she should and just ask how he's doing but never did. It isn't so necessary, he mentioned in the note she should call when she needs him but she didn't and even if she did she wasn't sure she'd call him. But it's bothers her that she hasn't called him.

Dinner was served and all she needed to do was head home. Daniel wasn't in the mood to mess around or was too stressed 'cause when he arrived home, he went straight to his room and came down to have dinner before going back to his room. She got all that information from Natasha and Sofia.

That's good in some way, she took her bag and headed out greeting the workers she saw good night before walking out the glass door. She went through the long corridor searching for her phone in her bag when she bumped into someone. She frowned and looked up to see who she was thinking of but never expected to see him in the place she works. Could she be dreaming? Or this man was stalking her? She had a questioning look but didn't utter a word, she went through the wooden door which was the exit, she knew Eric would follow her, she expected and wanted that because she wanted a conversation with him or maybe an interview on how he knew this place or how he knew she works here.

Standing by the entrance away from the door, the both of them facing each other, she crossed her arms below her burst staring at him mysteriously. He looked at her but not into her eyes.

"So Mister, you've become a stalker now?" She asked with her brows up.

Eric stared into her eyes now looking kind of angry. She now had her brows knitted. What's he thinking?

"I'm not a stalker" he said simply sounding upset.

"Then how come you know I work here?"

"Daniel your boss is my best friend. Have I cleared your doubts now?" He asked.

She eyed him, there's a big possibility that they are friends but she didn't like that fact that they are close but that doesn't change anything. "Ohh okay" she replied and then turned to leave but he took her hand and turned her back to him.

"You didn't call me" he said, he sounded sad about it.

'sorry' she said in her head. "You told me to call when I needed you"

"What if I needed you? You never call to at least ask how I'm doing or to just let me know it's your phone number so I can save it" he said.

Wait...was he angry about it. They aren't even close but somehow he's right. She should have called.

"It isn't such a big deal... next time I'd call" she said. "Infact I'd do that now" she brought out the phone she had been searching for and dialed his number. His phone rang and he answered it.

".... " He stared at her as he placed the phone next to his ear.

Lucy frowned and hung up. "You just wasted my call credit"

"It's isn't such a big deal.... Next time I wouldn't answer" he said.

Lucy was shocked and upset. Did he just spoke to her that way? She eyed him with a big frown settling on her face before taking a step away from him. "The orphanage called to thank you and I'd be going on a Sunday again. You might as well come along to meet those children because they want to say thank you to you or you go there yourself" she said.

"Okay" he replied and then Michael's car parked somewhere in the estate before climbing down and going to them.

"Bro..." He slapped Eric's shoulder before staring at the woman standing In front of them. He smiled sexily. "And you are so beautiful" he said and outstretched his hand aiming for a handshake. Lucy smiled and took his hand. "I'm Michael and you are?" He kissed her knuckles but she didn't blush.

Eric watched the two, he knew Michael was always the flirty type and Lucy would always play along. He turned away but returned back to them because it was Lucy Michael was flirting with. He wanted to see her reactions to his lines.

"Lucy" she smirked not In the blushing way and Eric was grateful to her for that.

Then it hits Michael's mind that this was the Lucy his friend Daniel was talking about. Now he knew why Daniel was so full of her, she's really pretty and her smiley face seduces him. Now he also wanted her.

"I'd like to know more about you pretty damsel and I must say, you took my breath away" he said still caressing her hand.

Lucy slowly find it uncomfortable with him. She forced a sweet smile.

Eric took her hand away from his friend's and let it down. "Get going and take care Lucy. Good night" he said and encircled Micheal's neck with his hand. He was upset but remembered they needed to go meet their friend.

"Lucy..." He called in a sexy tone. "Good night" he said and blew her a kiss. She waved and left.

Eric turned several times to see where she'd reach before heading in to Daniel's house.

Playing chess, Michael and Daniel chit chat while Eric watched. He had texted Lucy but she hasn't received a reply and he was so frustrated that she hasn't reply to his text but was kind of hopeful because she hasn't read his text.

"Now I see why you were so full of that girl Lucy... I met her a while ago" Michael Spoke.

Daniel laughed. "Don't admire her 'cause she's mine" he concluded still focused on the game.

"Let's see who she chooses then. I mean I'm handsome and still young not even in my thirties yet so I have a good stamina than a man in his thirties"

Eric now looked at the both of them. Is Michael right? He's just thirty last two months which was one of the reason why his Dad handed his company to him. Does he have a good stamina? He returned his gaze to his cellphone now staring at the picture he took in the bus days ago. How can he impress Lucy? He thought.

"That's trash friend..." Daniel said sounding kind of defeated. "I'm still strong and able to satisfy her to her heart content not only her every other beautiful lady but Lucy is the lady I want now" he said.

Eric listened to the both of them then Michael spoke. "Okay...okay but can I just borrow her?"

"No and don't try to get close to her or else..." Daniel was becoming a little furious.

"Aaaarggh, it's just to have her for a night, you are overreacting" Michael frowned at his friend.

"It's not just her. Lucy isn't like those girls you take for fun, she's mine so back off"

"Now I'm very sure you've fallen in love with her" Micheal said.

Eric on the other hand was curious to know Daniel's reply. Has he really fallen in love with Lucy? Why does he feel sad about it?

"I haven't stop speaking nonsense" Daniel said with a stern voice. Michael was about to speak again but receiving a glare from Daniel he kept mute.

Eric was relieved to hear his friend hasn't fallen in love with her, just then his phone beeped and he turned it on to see a notification. It's Lucy, she has replied his text. He picked up his phone again.
