LIAM BENJAMIN

I thought, I would be alone in this place and I would enjoy my food by myself. I turned to my right side, but I saw no one there, so I turned to my left side and to my surprise… It's true that I wasn't alone because the pretty girl next to me was also in this room.

What's her name again? Aerielle? Yeah, that's it. This is also where she eats her lunch.

My eyes fixed on her again and, why is that? Why did she eat gracefully? Why does she shimmer every time she eats her food? Is what I see real, or is it just my imagination?

As I stared at this beautiful young lady, I suddenly feel the beating in my chest again, and it was as if there was a celebration in my heart. We're the only two left in the room, and it's like we're dating—huh? What date? What are you thinking, Liam?!

Why do I think we're dating, we haven't even met, and we aren't lovers, okay? Stop that imagination of yours, Liam! Maybe when I talk to her, she will feel disgust with me, and then I'll think we're dating? I am very advanced to think that scenario!

As I imagined the possible scenarios in my mind, Aerielle was stunned as the moment she's going to eat her food, stocked up in the air her hand holding the spoon and gaping she turned to me.

Oh shit! She must have noticed that I had been staring at her. What the heck, Liam? Why are you looking at her?

Her forehead furrowed while she was still in that position. Does she think I want her to feed me her food—of course not! No. I don't want her to feed me. That’s not what I was thinking! She is so beautiful that I am amazed at her. That's it, but wait! I need to stop staring at her and thinking about how alluring she is. I might be call a weirdo again if I don't stop my gazes on her.

I took my eyes off her because she was already staring at me, too. Maybe she was thinking that I was weird because I was staring at her while I'm still biting my sandwich. Maybe she thinks I want her food, maybe she thinks that—

“Do you want this?”

I stopped from overthinking when I heard a small voice speak, and again… I turned my eyes to Aerielle who was now handing me her spoon with rice and meat on it.

Wait—did she read my what's running on my mind? I knew it. This woman is a mutant!

I shook my head in response to her offer and I don't know why can't I take the sandwich out of my mouth, and I stared at her face again. I don't know why it feels good to look at her small face. Even if you catch up all night staring at her, you won't get tired?

Her forehead furrowed even more as I stared at her. Why is it that when I look at her face, I find it difficult to look away?

“Do I have a booger on my face?”

And then why is that? Her voice is so cute! It's like a voice of cute anime girl? Oh, god… her voice was the cutest, adorable, and enchanting voice I ever heard! But wait, what did he ask? B-booger? She doesn't have that in her face.

“U-uh n-no. You don't—” I didn't finish what I was going to say because she suddenly laid the spoon as she was holding and put it on the tupper ware.

She took something from the pocket of her skirt. It is her phone, she opened the front cam afterwards. Her forehead still furrowed as she looked at her face on the phone, but suddenly, her eyes also widened and… I don't know what the heck happened next.

“Oh my gee! There it is!”

I was suddenly stunned by what she did, and the sandwich I had bitten slowly moved away from my mouth as I watched the most disturbing scene I ever saw.

She just.. picked her nose in front of me. Uh… What the hell I just witnessed?

“Aish! That's why my nose has been itchy for a while," she wiped her finger on her skirt which she used to get that… That gross thing.

Instantly, my attraction to her disappeared. Because… She's obnoxious.

She's a beautiful girl but, what? I'm definitely turned off to her, that's for sure!

After she did that disgusting scenario, she continued eating her food and smiled sweetly on me while chewing her food. And me, I don’t know if I can still smile at her, too.

Seriously? She did that disgusting thing in front of food. Didn't her parents teach her regarding dining etiquette?

Doesn't she already know the ugliness and rudeness of what she did? She did that while someone else was looking at her, and take note, she picked her nose in front of a man like me? Didn't she think that maybe someone could turn off what she did?

And she even got a sweet smile after she—ugh! I don't want to replay that gross scene in my mind!

I just continued my meal and didn't look at her anymore because yes, I turned off to her. I didn't expect this woman to be vulgar.

I was just eating when a girl shouted Aerielle's name from outside the room.

“Aerielleeeeeeeeee! What now?! You're so slow to eat!"

“Just a minute!” she shouted back while her mouth was still full of rice. There was even a splatter of rice with each utterance. She's hideous, tsk! But her voice was adorable, but I still turned off her. Period.

She put away the tupper ware of her food and put it in her bag, then she ran out of the room.

“You're so excited, the time isn't striking at one o'clock!" she scolded the woman who called her, and they left.

She's just facing that girl, but she really shouted so loud like as if she's talking to someone to the other building. Why is that woman like that? She had a beautiful face, but her attitude is grotesque. Is there really such a thing? This is my first time encounter a human being like her.

I shrugged the thoughts that I was thinking and finished my food. I don't want to think about her anymore. I don't care if that's her attitude. And I don’t even care if she’s beautiful.
